After asking some political questions and seeing the answers, I think I have found the answer to what the difference is between conservatives and liberals.
Conservatives have faith in their fellow man, and liberals do not. Consider the following:
Conservatives are willing to get rid of social programs because they believe most people are good, and will help each other. Liberals believe we will let our fellow man die at our doorstep, so they enslave all of us in programs. Conservatives believe Bush has made mistakes, but is basically a good man and doing the best he can. Liberals believe (without evidence) that Bush is murdering people for a few oil dollars. Conservatives believe companies are generally good and will take care of their employees. Liberals believe "big business" is trying to screw customer and employee alike.
If you examine any liberal policy, I believe you will see that it stems from a distrust and fear of their fellow man.
Anyone think I'm right or wrong?
