As the Christian West has revived its "Crusade" against the Islam in the garb of "freedom" and "democracy" and developed into a new ideology of "Clash of Civilization" (by Professor Huntington), and further, tactics of deception and fraud developed by the "Neo-Conservatives", whether muslims have any more effective weapons against the Christian west.

I love both Dixie Chicks and Green Day. However, I find it puzzling that some people I know refuse to listen to the Dixie Chicks after their comments in UK, but those same individuals absolutely *love* Green Day.

Do people understand why they hate the Dixie Chicks or is it just following blindly with some in their party?

If you want to get down to the core values of the Dixie Chicks and compare them with Green Day, Green Day wins in an anti-Bush battle hands down. I support both of their messages. I wish there were more in the media who would speak out against the wrongs of government (both democrats and republicans).

So why do you think some people hate the Dixie Chicks but still love Green Day?

After Lebanon do you think Isreal is going to sit back and let this happen again. NO!! They are more than likely going to hit Syria and Iran. You know why? B/c they are tired of being pushed around. And the funny part is Iran can't do nothing about it. You want to know why again? B/c If they attack Isreal, that gives the chance for the US to attack Iran and take out their nuclear facilities. Sure they will fight the invaders that invade their county, but for as attacking Isreal, Iran doesn't want us to get involved in war with them because they know that we can wipe out there nuclear capabilties. Will we go nuclear? No way! If any country does go nuclear, more than likely the whole world will reprise them. Any Syria stands no chance against Isreal b/c aas you should know, Isreal has the strongest military in that region.

there are always going to be some people take advantage of these programs but a majority of people that use these programs benefit to make something of themselves. before these programs were passed by lbj and fdr we has a higher unemployment rate, less people in college, and more people without good housing. thanks to these programs over time many families have broken the cylcle of poverty. that is the goal of these programs to break a cycle of poverty that many families have endured for generations. source: im a social work grad student who has studied this subject extensively.

Violence hasn't helped. If we kill 1 terrorist......100 will replace him. Revenge is the main reson why they choose the path of terror. According to human rights research, it only increases acts of terror. Perhaps appeasement, love, compassion, sacrifice can save the world.

After asking some political questions and seeing the answers, I think I have found the answer to what the difference is between conservatives and liberals.

Conservatives have faith in their fellow man, and liberals do not. Consider the following:
Conservatives are willing to get rid of social programs because they believe most people are good, and will help each other. Liberals believe we will let our fellow man die at our doorstep, so they enslave all of us in programs. Conservatives believe Bush has made mistakes, but is basically a good man and doing the best he can. Liberals believe (without evidence) that Bush is murdering people for a few oil dollars. Conservatives believe companies are generally good and will take care of their employees. Liberals believe "big business" is trying to screw customer and employee alike.

If you examine any liberal policy, I believe you will see that it stems from a distrust and fear of their fellow man.

Anyone think I'm right or wrong?
