For nostalgia, I think back to the enlightened period between 1980 and 1990, when the liberal bent folks would say things like.
If you get rid of our nuclear arms, the others will do the same.
If we "trust" our enemies, they'll learn from us.. and trust us too.
Everyone in the world is 'good' we just need to try to 'understand' them.
Then the Muslims terrorists kind of sobered up a lot people... ya' don't hear that kind of B.S. talk anymore, -after 9/11

Why because the world is selfish, and evil. It all me me me. Insted of woriking together to solve our problems, we bicker and fight.
