nathanM, i mean they are prepared to let their people die whilst wishing they could have attacked Israel themselves. Hiding behind their people.

Do you mean because they don't follow the hate-filled rantings of Hezbollah and Hammas? Well in a word no. Maybe they are tired of the killing and sorrow and are finally ready to really talk peace.

If you're referring to Islamic fundamentalists, they don't consider themselves traitors; they think they're champions of the Muslim cause. They may seem like traitors to us (and by "us" I mean the West) because they consider us enemies of their god and religion.
