...no matter what language you pray in, your faith, or what side of the Lebanon/Israeli conflict you might support, or if you wish to address a different conflict in the world.

Here is mine:

Our Father in Heaven, please take care of your precious children, and help us to put aside our grievances, put aside our greed, forgive each other, and act in love and wisdom, the way you have taught us to. In the name of your Son, Jesus. Amen.

Beautiful and All forgiving Divine One, Kosmic Source of all: my purpose for living -- please shine your Holy Light into the darkness, fear, ignorance, greed and rage that is wreaking havoc and chaos into the lives of innocents throughout this unholy world. May your Love cast out all fear in the hearts of humanity, so that we can rise above where we now are, and realize the great potential that You have planted within the hearts of each of us. I have faith in You...that you will give Your children a miracle like they've never seen before. Please put it into the minds of the people to start a revolution for bringing into manifestation YOUR Peace and Truth. Make THIS the time that the Beast will suffer the little children NO MORE. In the name of Christ, may we all be Enlightened and Free from the Kingdom of Darkness....so that Heaven can be brought to Earth: through all who are awakened to Christ within...for all of humanity and for this beautiful gift of a planet that we call 'home'. Amen

i cannot pray, because these are still simply men killing each other. it has nothing to do with god. i believe that if he could, he would already be preventing the bloodshed and conflict that occurs in his name.

so instead here is my hope:

i hope that we try to understand each other, before we do things we regret. i don't know what god could watch us struggle like this, but i hope he knows that we don't mean to hurt one another. and i hope that if he exists, that he comforts the souls who have gone into his care, regardless of how misguided their actions might or might not have been. i know like me, they are probably firm in their convictions and just doing the best that they can.

thank you for the invitation and i hope i did not offend. amen.

Oh! Lord, let us realise that we are humans first and different nationalities second. Give us to understand that we are the one and same - and war will never end till the men from both sides sit and thash it out peacefully - and agree to give something for taking something.

Cheers...

I always say the prayer of Jabez. I know that I did not make it up but hopefully you can use it
'And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying "Oh, that You would bless me, indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested. 1 Chronicles 4:10

Nice thought, but seeing as religion lies behind most of the bloodshed, I'm staying agnostic, so don't hold your breath waiting for your prayer to be answered.
