I know this is a hot topic, but my liberal butt needs some help. I do not see the opposition to gay marriage being anything more than a tip of the hat to the religious right. I'd like to understand the argument more completely from a neutral standpoint that doesn't include religious philosophy. I'm agnostic and am an American, and I do not believe that religion should be intertwined with law. And, I don't think law should regulate religion. To each his own is my motto. So, without spewing off on how homosexuality is a sin, are there any legitimate arguments against it? If you're going to spew off numbers too, please cite them so I can look them up. I can spot a hot head a mile away, and I'm honestly trying to reach out to the other side and understand what's going on.

Are the Iraqi people on the road to a better life now that the raping, torturing, murdering regime has been taken out of power?

If you say No, please explain why you don't think they are.
--------------------

Please not straying from the question. I'm not interested in hearing you tell me that is not why we went there. That is not the question. The question is very straight forward, even you simple minded liberals should be able to answer.

If so, who specifically is doing this.
I can't give somebody who blames only one party 10 points, just to let you know in advance, because both parties are at fault.

The guy has been made fun of by everybody and I really find it old. But he must be one thick-skinned dude to accept that 71% of the country doesn't like him. Just, I feel like making fun of president Bush is like poking a dead animal with a stick, the damge has already been done. So why do we still do it?

Not legalized, that's a long time away. But decriminalized, so people growing their own pot don't spend time in jail with crac-heads.

Except for, in a few states that require minimum wage, the majority of waiters and waitresses make about $2.15 an hour and must claim earnings up to minimum wage, so if you don't tip, they actually lose money. Is this fair?

Haven't we seen this kind of behavior on playgrounds?

In my opinion, most small businesses cater to the working class, restaraunts, small shops, etc., more money in their pockets allows them to spend on extras instead of paying basic bills only.

Basically, the question is do you:
A) Believe a person should be able to keep the money they make or inherit and then use it to make more money even if it means shafting people with crappy jobs and creating a work environments that are excellent for illegal aliens and people in foreign countries. Also, believe in taking some money for the benefit of public corporations in which other people with money own a share.

OR

B)Believe a government should step in and tell you who needs your money more than you do and then dispense it as seems neccessary in an inefficient and often ineffective manner, meanwhile creating a large amount of crappy paying ineffective dead-end jobs and a large population that live off of welfare.

OR

C)I would vote for Ross Perot.

After responding to a question about the media, that in a non sequator reffered to jews, made the comment "jews huh?" reffering to why it was necessary to include them in a unrelated question.

One of the other answers commented on my responce....

Thats is when it hit me, the Liberal Media Conspiracy, i remembered that people would make the racist remark that "jews" owned the media or ran Hollywood or ran the media.

I have never understood how the Liberal Media proponents could proclaim that there exsist a mass media conspiricary.
Untill i just put two and two together...

My question is....

Are proponents of a Liberal Media Bias, in some way using it as a euphemism for the racist "jews" run the media claims?
Is the Liberal Media Myth along the same lines of Jew own the Media Myth?
