Not legalized, that's a long time away. But decriminalized, so people growing their own pot don't spend time in jail with crac-heads.

I don't smoke marijuana, but I think it should be not only be decriminalized, but legalized as well. I say this because the government could regulate it and slap a fat tax on it to help out the country's deficit and perhaps ease some of the burden of us taxpayers.

Marijuana was the Spanish word they used to make it illegal.
Nobody knew what it was hemp until it was to late. The fact is so many products can be made with hemp they won't ever let it get in our hands again. George Washington grew hemp on his propriety.
Yes I think it should be decriminalized. The government is always overstepping its bounds.

Then how would all the local and federal government jails and prisons keep there cells full so they will have a reason to pay all there in-laws for taking care of the out-laws.

yes...but it won't be because the police and politicians make money on the deals. It's ridiculous because it is actually less harmful than alcohol, and even has some medicinal pluses like alcohol in small doses. If they would never have approved alcohol there'd still be hooch houses and politics would be making big money off of this...oh, wait...their are hooch houses still because it is illegal to make your own hooch. strange world.

Sure, legalize that stuff and let all the potheads dawin themselves off. While we are at it why dont we take all the gangs and drop them off in a stadium and come back in a week to see who won?

I think in order for something like that to work, they'd also have to leagalize it. If you are growing it, that's possession which is a crime. I guess it could work if they made possession legal but it would still be a crime to sell it. I say just leagalize it.
