Hell no. They don't have a common-sense candidate. The Democrat party has now become the official party of leftist whackos. Lieberman is the last level-head to leave the DNC.

I tend to agree with the Democrats on most cases and disagree with the Republicans on most cases. I registered as an independent voter because I don't like to pick my horses too early, especially if I don't even know their platforms yet.
A lot of people are suspecting that Hillary Clinton will run. I can't say she'd be my first choice but she'd probably get a vote out of me unless there's some miracle candidate running against her.
To answer your question, yes. I think that Americans have been pushed to the breaking point with the current administration and will surely make allusions to the party. That will likely sway many votes in the direction of the Democrats.

The Democrats do not have a viable candidate and all they do is critize what the Republicans do. Yet, they have no legitimate answer to some of the real problems we are facing. To make matters worse, there is a lot of in-fighting. If the status quo remains, there will not be a Democrat in the White House in 2008.

No, I hope not. Just think if Al Gore had been president what do you think he would have done about the twin towers? Clinton did nothing both times before when they tried to blow up the towers. So, they would be no good on terrorism. They would say, we can rehabilitate them, just like they want to let those murderers out of Quantanamo. I pray they don't get back in for a long time. They had the congress for years and that is why we have so many problems here in the USA. Plus I do not think they know how to tell the truth. Look at Kerry, he switches every time he thinks he might get a vote. Look at Hillary, she switches every time she thinks she might get a vote. They are out for themselves and for power. They don't care about the low income people. How would they know them, they have all the money they need and they can't relate to us poor people.

Yes, I think by then the American people will feel the pain in their pocket books and wake up to the fact that something else is going on here, the Republican party has been high jacked and they need to take a breather to weed out the thugs.

Since we do not know who is going to run, I think I will use my intelligence & wait to see who is the best canidate. We as Americans show such a lack of intelligence when we vote by Party only. Are we unable to seperate issues from rhetoric?

No, they'll lose again because they insist on being too liberal and that just doesn't work in a post-911 world. They're out of touch. Look at Howard Dean! Waaaay out there.

I certainly hope not...however, with so much dissatisfaction out there with both parties...there is no telling what is going to happen!
I pray that who ever receives this very powerful office will be a praying president that loves God with all his/her heart, and will seek His guidance.
America needs prayer, and a praying president.

That depends who they have for a candidate. Kerry? No way. Clinton? She has a better chance, but I still doubt she'll win. So, I guess my answer is that, no, I dont' think they'll get in at the next election.
