We know the political corruption runs to the core of both parties, but is there a way to remedy this? Do we need to revolt? Will introducing new parties solve the problem?

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country - Hermann Göring 1944(Nazi)

Reactionaries: Whining, bible pounding spoiled,gun-hugging, facist brats. I said it. Now why are they like that?

And ramming their gay bibles down everyones throats???
Everytime I run into an extreme conservative, they get mad about everything. They call people names, they abuse their freedoms, and then accuse other people of overstepping their boundaries. They are always whining that they don't have enough freedoms, that people are giving them a hard time, and that someone hurt their feelings. They're thin-skinned and I'm tired of all the crap they're giving everybody. I mean when I imagine a lconservative in my head, I imagine a person walking around spewing fire out of their mouth and crying about everything. Why are most of the extreme reactioanaries like this? Why are they cynical and presumptuous? Why do they accuse everyone else of holding fault for their problems?

Yes,this is meant as the flip side to a religion nut's question.Relax.

When a Conservative calls a lib a name he is a Nazi. Usually it is the Lib calling names when a Conservative comes up with a valid question or suggestion. I rarely hear any Ideas from the left just name calling and hand wringing.

Everyone seems to be willing to accept any tyrany in the name of democracy so I am starting to wonder if democracy is all it is cracked up to be. I mean lots of people really like Castro and the UAE is a pretty happy monarchy. It seems more like Bush is becoming the face of tyrany these days. I think globally people are more afraid of him then they ever were of Sadam. Anyone else losing faith in Democracy?
