Since actions speak louder then words, I would have to say yes.
I didn't like him at all until I saw him in a restaurant at Boston Logan airport. He was sitting with a white body guard and waiting for his steak lunch. his lunch came and a man with a young boy approached his table. The body guard put out his arm to block the boy and his dad. Ali (was Casious Clay) stopped the guard and signed autographs for this young man and others who came running. Ali had a cold steak and gained a new fan. Me.
His heart it turned out was bigger then his mouth.

yes. he stood up against a war that was unjust and similar to iraq, were never told the real story on these wars.
