im a democrat becasue they have the interest of the people, i look at what they have done. clinton, fdr, jfk, lbj, and carter all passed policies for average americans. reagan, bush 1 and 2, and nixon were crooks who looked out for billlion dollar coperations rather then the people.

I am a republican for three very odd but valid reasons.
1. Because Arnold Scharzenneger (sp?) became a Republican in 1960. He saw a debate between JFK and Nixon, but only seen Nixon talk. He liked Nixon's speech so much that he turned to his roomate and said, "It that man is republican, then so am I".
Seems like just a good reason as any to choose a party and it seemed to work out pretty well for him.
2. Superman fights for the American way. Think about it, if Superman had first landed on Earth as a baby in Russia, he would have grown up to fight for Truth, Justice, and the Communist way. If Superman gets to choose his political affiliation simply because he was adopted in America, then I should get to be a Republican because I was born in a Republican state (Ohio).
3. Lastly, I would hate being in the loser party. :P

Republican, mainly because I dont support abortion or same sex marriage and I also see that a lot of democrats just complain and have no solutions. I like Bush because Iraq needed help and that is what we are doing as well as protecting our country. He actually does things in office rather than just existing... or should I say having sex scandels. I do wish our soldiers could come home but most of them dont want to come back until the job is finished and a good gov. is set up over there.

Republican, I used to be a democrat but it has become such an immoral big government party that I switched when Ronald Reagan ran. I don't always agree with President Bush, but I respect him and support him. It seems so unfair for people to be so ugly about him. Nobody can please everyone all the time and now days people are so vicious.
The democratic party is pro-homosexual, pro-abortion, they are for Big Government and Big Brother. That makes me nervous. Their rhetoric is anti-family, anti-American, and anti-Christian. That scares me, guess that's why I switched parties. I don't see myself ever going back to the Democratic side.

Republican. Primarily the belief that states should be able to govern themselves without huge Washington interference. But also because, unlike the Democrats, I believe in the right for an unborn child to take his/her shot at solving the problems of the world rather than the expectant mother merely solving her personal problems at the expense of a child.

I'm a Conservative Republican because I am for most of their core beliefs (small government ruled by the people, pro-life, etc...).
I agree with Bush for the most part because he is one of very few that will stand up under harsh criticism in order to do what he thinks is right and protect our country, freedoms, and lives.

I'm an Independent, I approve of some of the things this administration's done, disapprove of others...I think both the GOP and the DNC need to work on some 'clean hands' legislation to prove to the public at large that they're not taking money under the table for this or that, a party affiliation doesn't really amount to much anymore when the corporations dish out payola to both...then they're both just tools etc. That's where you get into your ethics disputes, your smear campaigns, your corruption, etc etc etc. But, being a public servant means you keep your hands clean, or you lose your job. The first party that can prove they're doing that, to my satisfaction, gets my support...

I am not neither one of them.
But I like democrats better than the republicans, simply because of Bill Clinton's administration, what he did for US and for world was beneficiary.
Unfortunately Mr. Bush couldn't and cant handle the job over like Clinton used to do.
