Being so happy to be with someone you almost can't stand to be apart...loving them no matter what happens and even though you have a crazy bad temper (like I do) you hardly ever fight with them...

Is more Than infatuation and lust which may take two years to die down. It is being willing to give your life to protect the person you love. Wanting to make them happy for the rest of your life.
Alas many of us only recognize true love after we loose it.
