cuz it's the next best thing to ANARCHY!!! and thier all too scared to suggest that ANARCHY might be better.

Democracy means you the voter have at least some room for say in your government. To think that the rulers were ruling just because they were rich or daddy was in power (like in North Korea) or because they were generals and got their troops to take over the government--those are all the wrong reasons to be in leadership over a people. What if your ruler didn't like you or the people of your ancestry and you have no recourse? With a democracy or republic, the leaders are there until the next election when the most of the nation agrees they should be there, or be replaced.

Everyone does not. Thomas Jefferson wasn't a fan. There are over a billion people in China who do not live in a democracy. There are 250 million of us in the US who live in a republic. Democracies a difficult to maintain are often thought of as a mob.

I don't! I think MONARCHY is the best! But you've gotta get a really smart and kind king/queen to do the job of course. Besides, if he/she's a d*ckhead, it'll be much easier doing a coup then with a monarchy rather than a democratic government. Also much cheaper of course, hehe. Changing one head is easier then changing the whole system.

the peerfect form of government would be one set up with the intent to make itself obsolete within a few years of its establishment. unfortunately this would only work if there were no "bad people". a community of good people living to serve one another. every man and woman truely equal, every citizen helping there neighbor. i call it Utopian Anarchy.
