I heard Bush is going to initiate marshal law next year. Some sort of catastrophe so he can stay in power. If he doesn't he will be investigated by the next president republican or democrat. so bush has to stop any further elections.

I keep hearing about marshal law and some major attack on the U.S. to make this marshal law happen.

why?

why is Bush doing this? I am very very scared. The military is out of the U.S. pre-occupied in Iraq. how conveinent is that?

But what can we do to save America? why would Bush ever do such un-belieavable things? it is so unbeleable that it is crazy sounding. but so was 911 it sounded crazy but it happend.

we as Americans are helpless. the democrats got elected to stop bush and they wont.

I feel so helpless as an american. I am sscared. my brother was killed in Iraq. what can we do for the country? Why won't Bush stop this?

God help all of us. Please it is scary.

most of you know I lost my brother in Iraq. Not a day goes by that the pain fills us up so much. But we are so angry too. We trusted Bush and my brother is gone. My brothe and 3700 soldiers are dead in vain.

Can't the troops please come home and not die for Bush's lie? Since Bush has blackwater why can't the troops come home?

Why should honest loving sooldeirs die in vain. Bush hired Blackwater. Why do more patriotic soldiers need to be killed for Bush's lie?

Please bring the troops home and let them live. Support the troops ALIVE not dead.

Please in my brothers name I beg you all to save the lives of the troops and bring them home. Please?

isn't the notion of a prvate militia unconstituional in the United States?

furthemore since our tax dollars are paying for black water- how come congress has no idea how much money is being funneled to them by by Bush?

Apparenlty bush did his homework on hitler. because blackwater is the modern day S.S. on steroids.

note- bush considers blackwater not a militia but rather, "SECURITY" see below link

Does anyone have any idea where the plane that went down in Pennsylvania was headed to? I've heard many different answers...

AND

Was that plane, flight 93, shot down or crashed? I know the official report is that is crashed, but they found pieces of the plane miles away...that doesn't happen if a plane crashes.

the government was able to integrate the buses and schools. Sadly, only the government can enforce gun control. Washington will never be safe till we have nation-wide gun control. It you want something else to read, click here -

Why is the U.S. investing crap amounts of money into energy research while blowing massive amounts in on a war which, through pathetic attempts to "democratize" a region, is instead simply securing our non-renewable energy (oil) for maybe the next 10 or so years? Why are we building roads for cars that run on oil that we won't have soon? Don't people realize the oil's actually going to run out? Why is there no discussion of or interest in this huge and obvious problem?

Still, apparently we Americans are just too good to ride our bikes to work anymore in spite of the fact that Americans, who comprise less than 5 percent of the world's population, suck up more than 25 percent of its energy.

A friend and I went to an all you can eat restuarant to have dinner. He can be a little picky about his surroundings. He does not like to eat beside families with small children and he does not like eating near loud teenagers. (I can somewhat understand). When we sat to eat we moved from one table near small children (ages 1 and three) to another table.

A family sat beside us with a "mentally challenged" daughter. She looked like she was 10 years old and my friend wanted to move again b/c he said looking at her made his stomach turn. At this point, I drew the line. I told him that his behavior was "snooty," childish, cruel and unnecessary. He was angry at me b/c he said that I was being rude for not respecting his wishes and I was trying be controlling. To make along story short, we ended up moving b/c the argument became a little heated and the family was beginning to notice.

QUESTION FOR YOU
Was I wrong for taking up for the family instead of moving right away!

I live in Las Vegas and when listening to the old timers who lived here the longest all agree on the same thing:

The place was sure better when the mob ran things.

They complain about how the crime went up through the roof, how bad things are and everything in general since the corporations and US goverment took over.

Isn't interesting to hear that the Mafia actually was able to run a city goverment better then our actual goverment? Isn't rather sad?

< As topic reads, would the world be better or worse without America?

Oh, and it helps (not to mention makes for a fun read) if you back your answer up with an explanation, maybe some weighing in on history (what America did right vs. what it did wrong), etc... instead of just an answer.

My dad told me about a situation that happened between him and a doctor yesterday.

He has been diagnosed as having high cholesteral and the doctor wrote him a prescription for a popular drug to control it. The doctor warned him however, that one of the possible side effects of the drug is that in certain people, it will case extreme muscule degeneration, which will in turn cause the destroyed tissue to travel by blood to the kidneys, which will also be destroyed. There is no way to forsee this until after it has happened, eventually leading to a paralysis-type state or death.

My dad refused the medication and has no other options as diet and exercise do not work either.

Now, what you need to realize is that, when looking at the many proposed frameworks for a Nationalized Healthcare Program, EVERY ONE will require that if a doctor prescribes medication, you do not have the right to refuse it.......

It's sad that I have to say that, but it's only coming from experience...anyway what do you think about the fact that we've literally "lost" 9 billion dollars and 190,000 automatic weapons in Iraq? Is this still somehow a good thing because it happened during Bush's war?
