I heard Bush is going to initiate marshal law next year. Some sort of catastrophe so he can stay in power. If he doesn't he will be investigated by the next president republican or democrat. so bush has to stop any further elections.
I keep hearing about marshal law and some major attack on the U.S. to make this marshal law happen.
why?
why is Bush doing this? I am very very scared. The military is out of the U.S. pre-occupied in Iraq. how conveinent is that?
But what can we do to save America? why would Bush ever do such un-belieavable things? it is so unbeleable that it is crazy sounding. but so was 911 it sounded crazy but it happend.
we as Americans are helpless. the democrats got elected to stop bush and they wont.
I feel so helpless as an american. I am sscared. my brother was killed in Iraq. what can we do for the country? Why won't Bush stop this?

We live in a pretty scary world so I can understand your feelings. I doubt that Bush will have Marshall law. Certainly our political system has taken a nosedive as far as integrity, but that is just another feature of the "last days." I suggest you work on your spiritual needs. You will find peace and be able to deal with these times.

Ok you are so far under whatever left wing propaganda has been fed to you...please crawl out! You have no need to be scared of Bush. That's insanity. He will not be in office beyond the election. Our new President, I pray not a Democrat, will deal with the issues of the day upon taking office, just as it has been done since the founding of this nation.
Our military is in country. We have over 1 million men and women in our armed forces. maybe 200,000 are abroad.
We are not defenseless by any stretch of the imagination.
Reservists, National Guard, Active duty Army, Navy Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Veterans, Militias, Police...and the local red blooded Americans with their own personal firearms. There is not going to be martial law unless we are invaded by a foreign power...which is not going to happen.
By the way, if you vote for gun control, you are voting to take away a defensive mechanism, guaranteed in the Constitution, which is the right to bear arms...which is not for the purpose to protect against invasion from another country, but to protect us from our own government if it becomes tyrannical.
The only way that Jihadists can win a war against us is through immigration and our legal system...by leftist/activist judges that allow our "values" to be supplanted by Islamic Sharia, and that remove all vestiges of freedom of speech and religion from this country. They cannot win militarily.
The only reason we have lost lives to this extent in Iraq and Afghanistan is because we are trying so very hard to avoid killing innocents. If we fought this war to destroy Iraq, we would carpet bomb or just nuke the country until everyone crawled out of the rubble and gave up all weapons and unconditionally surrendered, but we are not that kind of people. We care about the lives of innocents...despite what you may hear in the media.
The use of nuclear weapons in this country by an Islamic nation would be terrible, but the yield, the size of the explosion would be very small due to their limited capacity to build high yield weapons, and their inability to deliver them. It would not end this country, but it certainly would end any country who attacked us outright. It would motivate the overwhelming majority in this nation towards an offensive annihilation of the aggressor.
Global warming is not going to burn us up either. Don't let junk science or consensus science cause you to fear in that regard either.
Seriously...people say the Right uses fear...but the Liberal Democrats want you so terrified of where the world is heading, they want you to speculate to the point of hysteria because a fearful society is easily controlled, and will give up all their freedoms on a whim if it could diminish the "fear."

the future is scary period. that is a fact that has been true for a long time, it is just how people are. humans are just afraid of what we don't know, and the future holds mystery. he is almost gone so just sit tight. we live in a world of morons, most people, including myself, do stupid things from time to time that usually affect other people more than us. bush is, and i am not defending him, stupid, ignorant, and narcissistic and his person affects us the most. sure bush is an idiot, so stop asking a million questions about bush being a retard and about the troops, because they WILLINGLY join and they CHOOSE to be someone who might get killed in order to protect us. if someone's life was in your hands would you do whatever possible to protect them? also, apparently you haven't heard of an impeachment attempt because you just complain and sulk and don't even care much about doing anything. i am not trying to be a jerk or yell at you or anything it is just that if you feel some way about something, do something about it. we are not helpless, we are strong and smart people. some of us would make better politicians than those in office right now, because we being part of their actions' results know what it is like to feel the injustice and to be ignored by the people who got them where they are.

Next year there will be a new president, President Bush will step down, and whoever takes over will institute their reforms.
If that person is Democrat, then you should budget to have another $600 to $700 per month deducted from your income so you can pay for government-rationed healthcare.
(Hope you don't have to sell your home or get a part-time job on weekends to keep up.)

The things you have mentioned do sound very terrifying if you have no belief in the promises found in the Bible.
Jesus said that we were not to be afraid when we heard of these events taking place. Read Matthew 24:3-14,Mark 13 and Luke 21.
That account has two fulfillments, one in the years shortly after Jesus death, and one in our day. The destruction of Jerusalem in 70 C.E. which the Jews never thought could happen,and the coming destruction of this system of things to make way for God's righteous government administered by Jesus Christ.
It will seem as though there is no solution, and as far as man providing one, there won't be but for those who place their hope in God's arrangements it is a time to look forward to.
You said at the end of your question: "God help all of us".Well that is exactly what will happen,but the help is only available to those who have accepted and submitted themselves to God's standards.That takes getting to know what is required of us to do now, to show we are willing subjects of his coming government. Studying the Bible and taking in accurate knowledge of our God and His Son Jesus is where you can start. Then instead of fear, you can have appreciation for the fulfillment of God's promises,and of being able to witness first hand what many Bible writers wished they could have lived to see. We live in the most thrilling time of human history!

There is no need to fear as long as we stand in the gap. Enough of us together can make a difference. We aren't going to let the world go down the drain.
