I really believe that the reason you libs are so in favor of gun control is that you're seeking complete control, over everyone. This is nothing but a huge power grab. An armed man is a citizen, an unarmed man is a subject, and that's what you want, to turn us all into subjects of the liberal huge government state.The Second Amendment is in the Constitution to protect the First Amendment.
The differences between gun control and integration are extreme. If you can't see that there's something wrong with you.

The problem is that you are listening to - too many editorials. If you look at the plain hard facts of control and crime rates. You would be amazed to find that the tougher the gun control is- the higher the crime rate is. When people who are out to do bad things know that everybody has a gun in their house- they will be less inclined to do something. Whereas if you take all of the guns away - then only the bad guys will be able to have them. they will get their guns and then they will know that nobody has one- for them its like shooting fish in a barrel.

Integration and gun control are so not related it isn't even funny.
Tell you what. Figure out a way to keep guns out of the hands of criminals then we can talk gun control.
Even the UK hasn't figured that one out yet.
ADD-
To add to David's answer. Here in Georgia we have a town, Kennesaw GA, where it is the law that ALL households have a functional firearm.
They have one of the lowest crime rates in the country.
And no, I don't ever remembering hearing about any accidental shootings in that town either.
The accidental shootings we hear about are from city dwellers that keep their pistol under the couch cushions where kids can get to them, just in case a drug deal goes bad or the cops come knocking.
