I've been hearing this talking point and many economist and other experts say that oil will skyrocket if we attack Iran, much like the oil increased after we attacked Iraq.

Just Google "$200 a barrel oil Iran" and pick your source.

If you think oil will hit $200 a barrel if we don't attack please give your source.

To all those who are extremely dissatisfied with our current goverment http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070924/ap_on_re_us/blackwater_probe

and talk about revolution. There is a more peaceful and effective method. If a criminal organization can commit as many atrocities as Blackwater and can get away with it because they lobby congress hard, then such methods can be used for good. If you want to make a radical change in our society, all you got to do is get together with your fellow radicals or dissents, gather enough cash and own you own politician. A king dancing to the tune of a puppet master's purse strings is just effective or even more effective then protesting or so called revolution and a hell less bloody.

Even Jewish Americans will stand with Israel against their countries interest in a blink eye to suppress any true questioning for the practices Israel is conducting in the Middle East; when Israel kills children, the blame is on the parents of those children whom lift their children stand in the line of Israeli fire!!! When Israel commit all kind of atrocities against humanity in the middle east the Israeli lobby would Justify absolutely anything with any kind of excuse even this would reflect hatred to the US… why should we pay for Israel's crimes???

Can someone please explain the halocaust to me? We haven't gone over it in school as of yet, so basically, the only thing I've learned about what the halocaust is: Hitler hated jews, hitler killed 6 million of them, some people believe it never happened. So, what is the halocaust? Why do people deny its authenticity? Thanks!!

The "Holocaust!!!" is a myth…
No body treated the Jews with cruelty as they have done to themselves… read the Tour at and the Bible…
Even though they have admitted killing of Jesus Christ …. And they were forgiven by the church and the Pope.
They lived in isolation (self proclaimed) among others communities where every body treated them with respect; in Arab ruled Andalusia they were appointed as prime ministers, in Europe they were the scientist and thinkers…but it is the extortion plot of the century they have been planning for many centuries to rule the world from behind the shades… and to walk off with the land of Palestinians and over-role the middle east…

I'm trying to figure out the statistical information at the website "North American Alliance for Economic Development". The pdf is on the right side of the webpage called "North American Cities of the Future".

Whats bizarre is that California isn't mentioned once in the statistical data. The only thing I can think of is that the listed cities/states have the major ports that the UAE bought. Check out the pdf on the website and let me know if you find it rather bizarre also.

millions of Americans do not believe the official story, it just doesnt add up.

- why did the towers collapse? (the two towers let alone building 7 which wasnt hit by a plane). how could they fall on their own footprints and turn to dust like that in freefall speed?

- why invade iraq which had NOTHING to do with 9-11?

- how could a caveman launch 4 planes with long time intervals between them and the US could do aboslutely nothing to stop them?

- how could bin laden land by the pentagon - the most secured building in the world - practically unchallenged?

- how could they know bin laden did it just in few hours on sept 11, 2001? they couldnt know that 10 years before?

- why did Bush keep reading a goat story while the country burns in flame?

- why does the media not tell alternative explanations? why do they try to shut up anyone with alternative explanations as conspiracy theorist?

According to the US Census bureau, we have an estimated 299 million people in the USA. 44 Million do not have healthcare. So these individuals make up less than 14% of our nation. Approximately 85% of people are covered by employeer sponsored healthcare.

Why should the majority of people who have adequate or good insurance be forced to go onto a government program such as what Hillary Clinton is proposing? The government cannot run Medicare or Medicad efficiently, what makes you think Universal Healthcare will be run any better?

I constantly see questions and answers on here about how things like the patriot act is unconstitutional and how our forefathers would be ashamed... For what are suppose to be progressive parties, they sure do like to live in the past. What freedoms have you lost? What aren't YOU allowed to do now that you could do before? Or do you just like to act like your more important then you really are so you can say the government is after you?

Our country may have been founded a mere 200+ years ago but so much has changed. Now we have bombs that can take out whole cities and destroy whole states' living conditions... People that will fly airplanes as big as a football field into public buildings killing thousands. Our Forefathers have been outdated by technology where just a small group of 100 or so can take out millions of people and a 1/3 of our country with the help of a nuke or two.

I am a full-blooded, patriotic American citizen. Born & raised in the good ole' U.S.A., I take pride in the freedoms that have been afforded and defended for us. I in no way support racism, "scare-rism," or terrorism.

As Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad makes his way to Columbia University this afternoon for this much anticipated interview, we are hearing how despised this man is, coupled with comments admonishing him for his visit to the U.S. in the first place. In case you didn't know, he was denied access to Ground Zero to lay a wreath on the Twin Towers site.

Yes, he hates Israel. Yes, he believes the Holocaust didn't exist. Yes, he supports the old Khomeni's regime of Muslim conservatism. By all conventional American wisdom, he is way out in left field.

Now that he is in America and wishes to establish peaceful dialogue, aren't Americans acting hypocritical regarding "free speech?" If Americans can protest war and curse Bush, can't Ahmadinejad speak?
