I'm wondering - did these people who answered actually listen to Ahmadinejad only, or did they listen to him after the Introduction, Fox News Hype and Media Propaganda???
I'm wondering, if Ahmadinejad is pure evil, then since he was democratically elected (if you doubt this you should not be talking politics, since you don't know how the system works in Iran) does that mean that the millions of Iranians who voted for him are "pure evil"?
How about the millions of American Citizens who voted for senators and president that went to war in Iraq?
How about the British who followed the US?
How about the millions of Germans who voted for the Nazis in 1933?
As for women's freedom - I believe that dress code has nothing to do with real freedom - freedom to work, get paid, be in politics, etc. these are freedom. Still, things can improve. But that's not Ahmadinejad's call, that's the Supreme Leader's.
As for nuclear weapons: despite Ahmadinejad stating they have no bombs, I'm surprised how we feel he's lying, whereas we'd believe the Bush Administration after the Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq. And the United States has the largest stockpile of Nuclear Weapons. The government is allied to the only state in the Middle East that has known stockpiles of Nuclear Weapons - Israel. When an Israeli uncovered the secret development of Nuclear Weapons to the world, the Israeli government imprisoned him. Israel obviously did not believe in Free Speech. They definitely don't believe in the Non-Profileration Treaty (NPT) since they did not sign whereas Iran has.
The US has dealings with India and Pakistan, nations known to possess large amounts of nuclear weapons.
Yet our media is currently focusing on the uncertainty of whether Iran has bombs or not - a claim Iran is denying.
The Bush Administration states Iran is lying.
Should we believe this latter claim by the Bush Administration? After Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction?
Should we accept Israel's claim that Iran is a danger with regard to the fact that Israel is in no position to talk until they sign the NPT?
Should we accept the claim of a government which has invaded 2 nations (Afghanistan, Iraq) against International Will and is still bogged down in war? Or should we listen to a regime which has not attacked and in fact was invaded by Iraq under close supervision by Donald Rumsfeld (an ally of Saddam in the 80's)?
Ahmadinejad himself announced that he was NOT a holocaust denier in the Columbia University, but is questioning why Israel had to be carved out of Palestine.
Perhaps someone will say that Israel is a peaceful nation. While the recent airstrike (unprovoked) on Syria and the invasion of Lebanon and their maltreatment of Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners can prove otherwise, there are those who have listened to one side of the story.
It is true that Freedom of Speech prevails in the US. Unfortunately, this Free Speech is not distributed to the people that matter.
Censorship, word-play (like the one where Ahmadinejad is supposed to have said "wipe Israel off the map") and twiddling with facts is not uncommon from American, British and even Middle-Eastern media.
The US government is now limiting our freedom with "fear" - extending the rules on eavesdropping on phone conversations.
Iran is one nation - surrounded by American troops - close to Israel - and isolated by sanctions. This nation is considered evil whereas the Invaders are not. The invaders are liberators. The oil they take from the oilfields of Iraq is just behind-the-scenes.
Israel is a problem to the Middle-East, says Ahmadinejad. Well, it draws from the Isreali flag, though not many know the symbolic meaning behind it.
Those who have studied the flag will understand that the flag consists of two blue lines on a white background with a large star of David in the middle.
According to those who formulated this flag, the meanings are:
1.One blue line is the River Nile.
2.The other blue line is the River Euphrates.
3.The star of David in the Middle is the symbol of the Israeli Nation.
According to this flag, any land between the Nile and the Euphrates is considered Holy Land for Israel and is there for the taking - this was the earliest expansionist theme within High Israeli circles approximately 70 years ago.
This has not changed, one can argue, after many members of the MOSSAD were found in Iraq after the US invasion. Although this is speculation and must be treated accordingly and with great care.
While Iran's Revolution brought change to a country that was being crippled under the US 's greatest Mideast ally, the Shah, it also faced a new threat - a threat that the US supported - actually, a threat that was supported by:
1.US
2.UK
3.USSR
4.Germany
5.France
6.Gulf Arabian States
This new threat was Saddam Hussein. Iran managed to defend itself, but a large cost.
Saddam is not the only mistake the US made in the region.
Al-Qaeda was organised by the United States Government to resist Communism in Afghanistan by fighting the Soviets. (Ever watched the Rambo movies??)
So, how can we trust the government in the White House now, after so many repeated mistakes against a nation which has not invaded another for 200 years?
The last time an Iranian government attacked another nation was when Karim Khan Zand took over Basra from the Ottoman Empire over 200 years ago. Check how many US invasions have happened since then!!!!
Ahmadinejad has sent a letter to Bush and he was mocked for it for being "preachy". Didn't Jesus preach? Didn't Martin Luther King preach? How about Muhammad? Or even Roosevelt, Churchill and the Pope?
But Bush did not answer out of arrogance.
Is Iran making nuclear bombs? I don't know.
Does Iran already have nuclear bombs? I don't know.
Does the US and her current allies have nuclear bombs? Yes, yes, yes. It's the ones that have that are making the rules, not the ones that are not sure.
Look at climate change. The one major thing universally accepted - look how the Big Economic Powers treat this issue. Then look at Iran. Look at the other nations.
It's time we threw away our past prejudices. Maybe we should start by visiting the MiddleEast, starting with Iran. Maybe we should learn to see things in a newer perspective. Maybe we should learn to love rather than hate.
Maybe - and this is a big Maybe - we should seek the truth, even if we die trying!

particular our government has became right into a Imperialistic state, that lots is real. on the different hand we can not locate the money for to permit a rustic like Iran who has made threats to Israel and us to get a nuke. So definite we could desire to resign them in the previous our national protection is threatened. I do believe you even nonetheless that the U. S. ought to stay out of alternative worldwide places enterprise and basically concentration on what's mandatory from a countrywide protection concern. And precise now Iran is a protection concern. If I the place working the country, i could pull out of the middle east and all over the realm and concentration on my own united states of america, even nonetheless i could make it favourite that as quickly as we bypass away, if any, and that i repeat any terrorist helping united states of america or others sensible assaults us, or our electorate gets stomped and by ability of that I recommend decimated. i does no longer play with little invasions, i could use organic and organic, chemical and nuclear weapons, i does no longer play. i could in basic terms state we bypass away you presently and we are sorry for our previous leaders, now permit bygones be bygones or go through the outcomes.
