dubya signed america into this union taking the sovereignty of the country merging the U.S with canada and mexico in pretty much the same way as the EU does in europe .

Americans are largely ignorant of other cultures and the general working of politics (even on their own doorstep) because Americans are bread to believe they are superior. (Much to the amusement of the rest of the world).
Do we want race/hate, executions, gun violence, war-crimes and the highest rates of diabetic related illnesses in the world? (Heart disease/Obesity) and to be the world’s biggest contributor of Global warming? Nope.
Americans, they have no idea of the union you ask about -. because they are singularly, 'the best' in their own mind-set. Who cares about Canada (they think). Who cares (as they fall massively into debt caused by the Iraq wars). Who cares as they spend trillions of dollars? They will care. They will care when Canada's dollar is stronger, wait a second, it already is. Yes little old Canada, can't do anything better than cut down trees and moan - has a stronger dollar than the USA.
Does the average American know that? Doubt it. Presumably they'll get bailed out by taking someone else’s oil - Iran?
Other countries are not in the average Americans minds, because they 'don't matter' - do they?. Remember Americans are told from birth that USA is number 1, fly the flag now y'all and don't you dare criticise the Government, or you're a traitor.
What did Bush say after 9/11? ''You're either with us or against us''. Something like that.
This talk may have worked in the 'Wild West', but not in the days of Globalisation and world union. Compromise and Union is the key.
If one analyses the state of the USA now, in 2007/8 they have a problem:
When intellectually they are inferior, economically (now) they are inferior, and soon (due to China) they will be inferior militarily to the world's ''best nations'' - then Americans need to vote someone in as their president with a brain and not an oil baron with mental retardation and a religious calling.
Very sad, because Americans as people are great - it's their Government who feeds them 'fear' through TV networks such as Fox news, and also gives them a very poor education and feeds them on anti-depressants to suppress their minds.
As a child I dreamed of going to the USA, now America has become the most hated nation on earth due to Americans own foreign policy around the world - I'm somewhat less in love with the place. People never picked on America - in order to 'dominate' America picked on everyone else, but look what's happening. America only changes, when it's too late. Be it getting involved in WWII (When it suits them), or fighting Muslims (when it suits them), or making their own version of the E.U (When it suits them).
This domination may come to end with a mushroom cloud, or with other countries integrating with each other more effectively (think Russia/China) and leaving out the USA - who screw Europe anyway.
To the USA Cuba is the 'enemy' yet has a better state education and state health care system. Americans don't know this, because Cubans are labelled as 'terrorists' or just nasty people who are evil. (Again, all driven by American news media networks controlled by the Government).
That is tragic, and I fear with the growth of terrorism - that not knowing anything about North American union is the last of the average Americans worries when religious extremists threaten world peace and America has a man with an IQ of 90 at the helm.
God help us all, and bless us all too - America included

This would be such a blow to most Americans, that the government is keeping it a secret via mainstream media, until it is actually upon us. Can you imagine what this part of the world would be like if we just opened up our borders to Mexico? America would be in total chaos. People would be killing each other left and right, just to sustain our lives. Millions of Mexicans will food our streets, and would eventually turn America into a third world country. We think we have problems now? Just wait until this plan is implemented. We will all be screwed!

There is no declaration of formation of NAU.I didnt see anything in the press or mass media.When it was formed?Who is the head?
EU is only an arrangement,individual members retain their soveriegnity.It is only economic meger and not political.

i dunno much but i do know that if i was a mexican or canadian i'd be mortified. i can imagine though that the U.S. people would find advantage in travelling the world under a different flag.
