Actually, that couldnt be further from the truth, the EU is not a path to having 1 country, just an inclusive union of countries, working together to better themselves and keep ourselves from being over-run by the economies of the USA, and the emerging powers of china and india

There are essentially two views on the EU's future structure, a Federal Europe, or a Cooperative, linked by a series of agreements that make close co-operation possible. Either way, all member states will have to align some aspects of their national law to fit in.
I don't think there is a plan to break up the UK, however if nationalist in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland succeed in breaking up the UK because it looks less relevant than the EU structure, then that will be a shame.
I don't think there's much apathy to nationalists.

Yes its very clear now,and yes, it appears many are prepared to accept what is being done by stealth...........
Clause I464 of the EU Constitution makes it clear national parties like the (Labour?) Party won't be allowed in Europe. And the Constitution (which will be fully implemented after the Queen signs the 7th treaty in perhaps 2/3 years time, maybe sooner),gives the EU absolute power to abolish Westminster whenever it so decrees. As Westminster will have no powers and no function inside Europe it probably will.
I urge you all to read the Constitution......

Yes it is designed to take away our individuality and make us one State. If this is allowed to happen there will be no going back.It will be the end of democracy. I hope that the British will wake up before its too late, Gordon Brown is a smooth talker and is even now talking his way into another term of office with more false promises. Just like his promise of a referendum!

That and a host of other Globalist illuminati projects. And yes,all people will accept it in every nation because the dumbing down of the world has been completed.Else, the U.N. would've been crushed long ago.People were wise after WW1[at least in the USA.We declined to join the League of Nations, and it died out.But WW2 was used to weaken the resolve of all people across the Globe, and the U.N. became a reality. Then came the Club of Rome, and on and on.[the story goes back much further so you know].

I feel it is. The UN is another big part of that.
I am completely against a North American Union. The United States not only loses it's sovereignty, but also gets shafted economically, politically, socially, and so on...
I will fight any such plan any way I know how.

Yes. The master plan is to create a "global union". The EU was the first phase...then the North American Union, Union of the Americas, Asian Union, Eurasian Union, and so on. I don't know if the British will accept it right away buy the will eventually.

The underlying motivation for the politicians is, to have more jobs for politicians, as you need now national and international positions for the same thing. Brussels is a copy of each national congress, with much higher pay and no other work then eat shrimps and waffles.

Yes, in answer to your first. It was invented by the French to stop the Germans invading them again, and by the Germans to stop them getting the urge to invade France (and everywhere else) again, and by the Belgians to get all the dosh that goes with 'hosting' the whole charade in Brussels.
Pleased to see the Sun, like the Telegraph, is now calling for a referendum on the 'Treaty'. See either (or both) on line and get your name down.

EU is not a one country concept. The geographical state of individual members remain unchanged,There is no loss of soverignity of individual members. It is only an ECONOMIC UNION to survive in a competitive environment.UK remains as UK.Except following common economic polices ,it has no other adverse impact. The political map remains unchanged, there is only union of economies through common policies for common good.
