I am not joking. At one time I was scared of the Tories, they were reputed to have the slickest political party in Christendom when it came to elections. I don't know what's happened but they have descended into a national joke, I'm over the moon. bring on the election Gordon.

Look back at 1997. Tony Blair had no policies at all just a big vacant grin. He was elected purely on personal charisma.
As soon as he got into power he adopted most of the Tory policies.
Refused to repeal the anti trade union legislation he had been frothing at the mouth about as a member of the opposition.
About the only thing he didn't adopt was their policies on the NHS. That is a real shame because the Tories had set in motion true modernisation of the health service.
If he had adopted their policies we wouldn't be seeing the disintegration of the health service with hospital closures and the virtual destruction of GP services.
Need a doctor at night now? well I hope you can drive 20 miles then.
David Cameron, like Blair has tremendous charisma. He is far more camera friendly than dour old Gordon.
As to William Hague, he is one of the most intelligent and able men in Westminster.
The difference between the Tory and Labour politicians is that generally, with a few exceptions, the Tory MPs are of a calibre where they could earn far more outside the house. The majority taking a huge pay cut to become an MP.
The majority of labour politicians doubled their incomes by becoming MPs.
Of course the British public are either so gullible that they believe the propaganda pushed out by labour or so disillusioned that they don't vote any more.
This government after all was elected by 20.2% of the electorate. That means that 4 out of every 5 people either didn't want Labour or didn't believe that there was any difference worth voting for.
Democracy? Don't make me laugh!

If there is a General Election soon, Labour will win (because they just will) and the Tories will then sack Cameron and vote in yet another loser (because they just will).
Cameron has spent the past few months burbling about 'the environment' and 'respect'. What utter bo****ks! Little or no mention of what the voters want to be addressed - (1) crime and the total lack of proper sentences and (2) immigration, to name but two. Add your own ( and it won't be either paying to park at Tesco's or 'respect'.)
The other bunch - the Nonsense Party (LibDems) are led by a nice, but old and feeble bloke and they could never win anyway.
You're absolutely right. we're in for another 5 years of Labour - 2 million more asylum seekers? I think that you and I both know the answer to that one.

The Tories are the lesser of the two untrustworthy Parties but they ought to form an able Team around Cameron. Labour wins because they are better at making promises they know they cannot keep. The Conservatives however lose sight of the promises they make. The Lib-Dems,- I try not to think about them as they are too thin on the ground to make any impact on most people I know.

Cameron was just elected as a patsy to take all the flack until the time is right and our troops are bought home then a new leader will be selected to the helm.
There isn't much to choose between any of the plebs on offer.

I hope so too. As the Tories are, they are unelectable and have been for a long time. Brown is enjoying his second bounce, since becoming PM and, who knows, the Labour Govt., might call a snap election in the autumn. I think if they go for it, Labour will be elected for the fourth time and I would personally be very happy about that.
