I only think he fooled the very gullible. The good news is that old saying is true - "You can't fool all of the people all of the time..."

You all missed the point. In Iran the audience(of Columbia University) gave him a standing ovation.

With the Presidents introduction of Ahmadinejad showing him for who he really is, we know the truth because we have a free press. If you really want to know what is being said in Middle Eastern countries you have to read it in Arabic or Farsi, in Iran's case, to get the truth of what is being told.

Their media is State run!

So, yes, he fooled us and he didn't. If you had ears to hear, you would know him for what he is, but he has also used that as propaganda in, sorry for political incorrectness but truth be told, Muslim nations.
We in the West are very resistant to use force! We feel it is the last resort, and could not comprehend sending children into battle as cannon fodder.

Or, would we show our children cartoons of young boys strapping on a suicide vest and jumping onto convoys of trucks with the emblems of Israel and the US on them, as they do in Iran?
Or should our cartoons show American Kids strapping on bombs and jumping on a convoy of trucks from Iran, Syria, or North Korea? Incomprehensible! If there wasn't a public outcry, I believe parents would not let their children watch.
Be afraid very afraid! Every friday after prayers in Tehran they chant death to America.

Well, I'm a conservative Christian, but I think the President of Columbia was rude, that the President of Iran is wrong but is so much better at speaking, expressing himself, and is more knowing about history and is more political savy than President Bush. We were not gracious hosts to a head of state.

It's sad but I think he fooled many people. He could turn on the charm at will. If I didn't know who he was and saw a picture of him I would think he was harmless. If you ever see his speeches that he does in Iran, they contrast greatly with today's speech. He works the media like a pro, kinda like Castro and Hitler did.
However, he doesn't fool me. His armies march over the US flag. He consistently talks about wiping out Israel. After all, he is a follower of the religion of peace.

Both Bush and Ahmadinejad are liars but you have to hand it to Ahmadinejad that he delivers betters. Bush is hardly coherent and constantly contradicts himself but Ahmadinejad has a, however grossly skewed and slanted, factual/historical basis to his arguments. He was right about the United States' involvement in the Iran/Iraq War.

Again both are liars and shouldn't be trusted.
