What is it about mere verbal communication that the Repubs are so deathly afraid of? Could it be that the only times the Repubs open their mouths is to lie and therefore they assume everyone else does the same? The guy was invited to speak at Columbia, a private college, in an open question and answer session. That is more than Bush has ever done since during his 'town meetings' he never allows open questions but only pre-approved questions to be asked of him.
