Of course. Do you think Bush would have started this war if he knew he would be tried for crimes against humanity and the murder of thousands of our troops and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians?!

Yes absolutly, you see it all the time, teh news media doesn't help either, they get on a story can influence what the outcome is for good or bad. most laws are to control us, not the rich and powerful, laws are there to use against us as a weapon of control. why do you think there are so many petty laws and taxation to death on everything we own or do?
it is about power, the rich know the laws will never be applied to them as they are the ones who wrote them and got their vassels in government to pass them for them. laws for the upper crust is selectively applied to themselves either to benefit them or punish a uncooperative big shot.

Not really.
Rich companies on the other hand often spend lots of money on lobbiests to have laws changed in thir favor (banks, casinos, etc...).
The rich may get off due to expensive lawyers with better education.
The rich, the powerful, the beautiful, the famous do seem to be treated better as though by a diferent set of rules.

Most always yes. Case in point. The rich kids who broke into school to steal exams. The parent of one thinks they are above the law and should just get a violation. I'll bet if ya ask him what to do with someone who broke into his house and he'd say throw the book at em. Just what the world doesn't need is more dumb rich kids who cheat to get what they want.

On paper, not really.
In reality -- the laws get applied differently to different people -- and having money lets you put political and economic pressure that often results in things going your way.
Also, while not absolute, having money usually also means better legal advice -- and having a better lawyer usually results in a win.

yes, the simply fact is that if your rights are being violated and you aren't very wealthy to be able to afford a costly legal defense or are fortunate enough to be aided by a group like the ACLU, the end result is that there ARE different laws for the rich and poor
I have to add that I consider a legal system where the end result depends on the relative wealth of the plaintiff to be fundamentally flawed.

try to investigate how many millionaires have ever
been executed. hint: one hand is enough for counting.
discrimination isn't stuck to money - attorneys demand
death penalty for afro-americans more regulary etc.
still the answer is YES - the racist system is just
50% - same as lawyer greed without conscience.

I think because they are able to afford high priced attorney's that many, ( not all) do get away with more than us "little people." However, I will reserve judgement until I see what happens to O.J. this time!
