Some people say Global Warming is something just made up by some people. Who would benefit from creating such a "rumor?" It is just amazing that people still believe Global Warming is just fiction? USA is the only country who is not willing to collaborate to stop global warming? Why is it?
People can be stupid sometime. Oil companies don't want people to believe in global warming because they just want to make money.

According to some scientist, not later than half a century from now, we may be able to see some drastic weather changes. Some people deny the holocaust, some people will surely deny global warming. Just remember less than 15 years ago when scientist said that that fact that nicotine was addictive was just fiction. Now we can see that cigarettes alone kill more people than alcohol, car accidents and gun related dead all combined. It was just fiction some years ago?

Do you think Americans are too media-driven people? And that global warming is just fiction?

I do not understand why bush continues to vetoe stem cell research. All of the embryo's that are planned to be used are already discarded. We can either research into the embryos and possibly save lives, or we can let the already discarded embryos rot.

Stem cell research can help REAL people... discarded embryos are not living etc.

It seems to me that republicans act pro life, but are against research that could save lives. How strange.

Hello.

I am a faithful catholic.

I do not understand why gays are constantly discriminated against in the church. If 2 people truely love each other why is it considered unacceptable for them to be denied marriage, the adoption of children etc?

Many republicans have called gays a threat to the American family. I do not understand this. Most gays I know are not attacking American families and forcing them to watch gay pornography.... lol.

Isn't the real threat to the American family things such as divorces television etc?

I find it strange that republicans act so family focused yet republican states have divorce rates 3 times higher than liberal states!!

I understand that many of you conservatives consider homosexuality immoral, but all of my gay friends say that if they had a choice they would be straight, but that is just how they are.

P.S. - I'm not gay, but believe that everyone should have the right to be happily married... man or woman.

Thanks.

When a judge releases a rapist of a 7 year old child because "no translator could be found", which political ideology does this judge most likely reflect? Conservative? Or liberal? Will other rapes take place because of this judge? If so, should the judge be disbarred and or imprisoned?

ROCKVILLE, Md. — The prosecutor in the case of a Liberian native charged with repeatedly raping and molesting a 7-year-old girl said Monday that he is filing an appeal of a controversial judge's ruling that dismissed all charges because an interpreter who spoke the suspect's rare West African dialect could not be found.

This question is in relation to an answer I read which stated that Republicans want to rid programs for the deserving poor. [This is not verbatim, but will serve our purposes here].

I am not against providing a helping hand to anyone when they need it. However, the poor have the same opportunities in life as anyone else. I came from a poor family and have done quite well for myself. I didn't do it by waiting for someone to provide a handout, but rather by gaining an education and then engaging in hard work. So my question is what makes the poor so deserving?

US is one of the countries touting democracy and equal opportunity, but when it comes to elect a female to be a Chief Commander, even the Christian leaders do not fail to trump up tales and badmouth about her and things in her bedroom, let alone the males counterpart? Are they afraid that she might discover their incompetencies all along?

What if the current state of the World was planned by all the Elite Governments of the World?

What if the Royals and Leaders of the World came together on one single issue - thin the World population.

What if China and Russia were the only ones not on board.

Wouldn't they just start their plan and work on China and Russia later.

How easy would it be to fool all the masses in the World and turn them against each other. Turning Religion against Religion - Brother against Brother - Party against Party - Nation against Nation? Do they control military

Consider what is happening. Think about how the power of Government could effect that change and how easily the powers granted to them would make it.

There are many who feel that thinning the World population is what is needed to change pollution, famine, use of natural resources. There are some that feel that by killing off 90% of the world population - it will solve most if not all problems.

Just throwing this out there

I mean - 80% of people believe anything their favorite media outlet presents.

It is no secret that mainstream media is bought and paid for at Government levels.

Example: The attack on Michael Moore after the release of "Sicko" CNN blasted him and said he fabricated findings only to come out a week later on Wolf Blitzer and apologize for lying and covering it up on behalf of the Health Insurance Companies.

World known Scholars and Physicists have found evidence of Thermite - which used in controlled demolition in the dust at all World Trade Center collapses.

They have proven there is no video of a plane hitting the Pentagon. The most secure building in America with hundreds of camera angles - yet not one image of a plane coming in or hitting.

They have documented people who worked for and were with Dick Cheney when he gave the order from his bunker to stand down - meaning - do not shoot down the hijacked planes.

In fact it has been proven. They just don't cover it!

I'm totally freaking out about the government. George Bush has been signing executive orders left and right which grant him rights, essentially, as dictator in the event of a national emergency.

That's here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/05/20070509-12.html

Also, last week he signed an order that gives him the right to steal the property of any individual who 'threatens stabilization efforts in Iraq'. I've heard people argue that this only applies to people who use violence, but I don't buy it. What if he decided that this very question threatened "stabilization efforts"?

You can read that one here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/07/20070717-3.html

So what I'm asking, I guess, is am I right to be utterly terrified of the government? I can absolutely see a staged "terrorist attack" in the next few months which allows Bush to strip us of all rights and rape us as he pleases.

Tell me I'm not crazy.

Bush’s July 17 “Executive Order”

This definitly effects our Constitution!

So we have lost our right to privacy!

Now we have lost the freedom of speech, to be able to protest!

I basically says that anyone protesting the war or saying 9/11 was an inside job can have their bank accounts frozen and their personal property taken away?

They issued it in another language, but it has that same effect on American's who wish to speak out against the war!

And these Con's still say that it isn't a threat to our Constitution!

Wake up America!

I protest this “Order,” which itself is in flagrant violation of the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, which guarantees the right to freedom of speech, the press, and to protest, despite the fact that that right has been violated by various courts in various eras in contentious situations like the one we have today.
