Global warming is accuring. The cause is still up for debate. Some point to man-made co2 emissions, others say solar flares and other yet say it's cyclical or natures ebb and flow.
The fact is the Earth has gone through many warming and colling periods and will continue to do so.
Increased solar activity has also warmed Mars and Venus.

"USA is the only country who is not willing to collaborate to stop global warming? Why is it?"
I assume you are talking about Koyoto. Do you know what effect the treaty was meant to have? The effect was meant to be to reduce global teameratures by 2100 by 0.4 degrees celcius. That's not what now happens, it's what would have happened if America had signed it. Four hundreths of a degree. And the point of Koyoto wasn't a first step. It was to reduce "Global Warming".
Also global warming isn't fact. The proper definition for global warming is that it is the THEORY that increased levels of carbon dioxide and other certain gasses are causing an increase in the average temperature of the earths atmosphere because of the so-called greenhouse effect.
Satellite data does not show an increase in sea levels.
Computer models do not prove it. Something that is predicted is not PROOF.
Spreading deserts is a claim often made. But in fact the Sahara has shrink since 1980.
So yes, I am not against protecting the environment, but global warming is a large beat up.

The problem is that America is too politicized and partisan. Almost all people who deny global warming are conservatives, because they say 'oh global warming is just a liberal lie'.
Any reasonable person who examines the scientific evidence will conclude that the current global warming is primarily caused by humans. The problem is that most people are not willing to examine all the evidence. They don't want to believe that humans are to blame, so they seek out (mis)information which concludes that humans aren't to blame. No matter how inaccurate or unreliable that information is, they'll latch onto it and repeat it so often that you can't convince them it's untrue.
It's a sad state of affairs.

If you believe that global warming is man-made, then you believe that greenhouse gases are a bad thing. If you believe they're a bad thing, you believe they should be reduced. And reducing greenhouse gases would mean using less petroleum, in all its myriad forms. And since the current administration is dedicated to the protection of petroleum companies, it is only natural that it would try to convince its base that somehow global warming is being promoted by the same people who approve of gay marriage, abortion and secular schools.
The idea that global warming is a liberal plot is a lunatic notion, but it's surprising how closely it maps with public opinion. It's an extremely successful con job, and it's bought the oil companies at least a decade of profits and indolence. It's not clear why evangelical Christians -- or that portion of them that are die-hard supporters of George Bush -- should be so interested in the financial well-being of oil companies. It's not as if they're getting anything out of it.

What bothers me most about this debate is their seems to be no middle ground.
Liberals say yes, absolutely. (according to what seems the popular mindset) and Conservatives say, No way, it's cause Liberals hate you and don't want you to be happy or rich. (again, popular mindset)
The sad thing is, is that neither side seems to want to meet in the middle.
If there was some sort of compromise, perhaps something could be done to at least lessen the damage, if there is any.
I think it is scary to see one side covering their eyes and ears as the other talks on.
Because, if it is a possibility, and NOBODY can say it is not a POSSIBILITY, then doing something, even something small now would be better than drastic measures 100 years from now.
And yes personally, I do believe it is happening. But I am willing to admit that I don't know everything at the same time.

No, it's happening but not the way that some people say it's happening. Humans did not start it nor are we making it worse. I saw on the news the other day that there were 72 forest fires nationwide and that puts out more carbon dioxide than any or all of the plants put out not to mention all of the earth's volcanoes. There is nothing man made about this "global warming". Back in my day it was called the tropical age which happens after each ice age. We just got out of an ice age so now we are headed toward the tropical age but it's going to take hundreds if not thousands of years to happen.

I'm just a little amazed that if you're certainly enrolled in a institution that you simply can not discover lots of individuals there to whom you'll pose this query alternatively than to random individuals on Yahoo!. Anyway, international warming isn't anything you'll absolutely end up, it should be obvious in phrases of chances. And that possibility that it is going on and that human pastime is the purpose is someplace north of ninety%. The individuals who say that this can be a "ordinary incidence" are undertaking an uninformed, fake argument. It's a shallow sound-chew. Yes, the earth's temperature has fluctuated over the eons for one motive or a different, however in no way has the difference been as fast as we're experiencing correct now. "Normal" occurrences occurred over 1000's of years, now not 100 years. Then you can run into the persons that cherry-decide upon the information, akin to one responder underneath who's opting for specified intervals to exhibit that the total fashion can not be taking place. Nonsense. In any case, despite the fact that it have been fiction of a few variety then you might need to suppose what number of tens of 1000's of individuals might be in at the conspiracy, and if you'll suppose that, then how approximately assembly me in Brooklyn as I simply occur to have a high-quality deal on a bridge there for you. :)

They think scientists are using Global Warming as a way to make money. As if the smartest people in the world can't think of a better thing to make money on. Americans are for sure less educated then most other western countries on science. 47% of Americans don't accpet evolution. Only Turkey is a western country with a higher percentage.

I believe global warming is a very real problem. The latest Scientific American (August 2007) has an article explaining exactly WHY they believe that the almost universal consensus that global warming is accurate.
Check the link below. It is just an intro. You'll have to buy the article or the magazine.
You might also find it in your local library.
