If people don't support the war is one thing, it has nothing to do against Americans. People do suffer as they see other human beings suffering so they have to speak their minds.

Since the Bush administration can choose to follow only the laws it wants to, why have the pretense of pretending to have a Constitution or even a republic. At this point, nothing prevents the president from exercising any power beyond that which is strictly set out by the Constitution. We either have 3 co equal branches of government or we don't. Simple as that.

there was once a time where victory was the number one priority. But now it is so dedicated to failure. America has become a weak moraled nation, revealing our weakness and drives hope into our enemies. I use to think being American was something to be proud of, something better than the rest. But that feeling is slipping away, after seeing the majority whine and complain over a war that is winnable. America has become weak. we may be still more technilogically more advanced but others are catching up, and we are slowing down. I just dont understand to what has happened to this once great nation, Bush to me, is doing what he should be doing, but the majority of American people are supporting the opposite of what he is trying to achieve, which is failure.
what is happening and do you believe with this lack of willingness to support victory, will be our downfall?
what are your thoughts

I'm guessing the second amendment right to bear arms.

While you might think you need that gun to shoot a burglar or your your wife if she stands in front of the TV, what if the Bush administration says there's too great a risk of it falling into the hands of terrorists?

Isn't a gun a greater threat than free speech or the right to call a lawyer when you're arrested?

The White House's extreme position will lead to a constitutional crisis where the executive branch refuses to follow the law. Congress may need to use its own inherent contempt powers, in which it would level the charges itself and hold a trial. - if Bush won't let the DOJ do its job.
Bush's stance endangers our 3 part system of government and the Constituton as well as the Republic.

"insurgents" and "freedom fighters" instead of the murdering terrorists that they are? Why do they judge our troops but not the throat cutters? Why do they bash Bush for Iraqi civilian casualties, but not Clinton when he dropped bombs on the Serbian people? And why do they vilify Christians but give Islamists a free pass?

Food preparation?

We all "NEED" to eat, right? So shouldn't the government have to pay for something we all "need"? I can only afford taco bell, but I want Ruth's Chris. Shouldn't I be "entitled" to a good meal?

Same argument as health care, right? I won't live as long eating taco bell as other restaurants.

"NASHUA, N.H. - Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney took aim at Democratic rivals on Sunday, calling them all unprepared to lead the country and comparing Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's economic plan to that of Socialist Karl Marx."

Socialist this, Karl Marx that. On this forum, you can't go a single page w/o seeing something about socialism.

And once again someone from the GOP cannot debate the issues, so they once again turn to slandering the source.

I don't know if you guys noticed it, but the American people are growing tired of your GOP rhetoric. They're not being fooled anymore by unfounded slander.

Keep calling us Socialists. In fact, keep on saying it after we take the White House. That lets me know the real issues are not w/in your collective grasp and many others are catching on to this juvenile propoganda and seeing it for what it is.
