Under God is still in there.
Because of that phrase, the Pledge has become optional to say.
Really, really stupid idea to add that declaration of religion to what was a perfect patriotic oath......

My school district (LAUSD Los Angeles Unified School District) does indeed require it, but personally, I think they should make "under god" optional because there are many people that are athiest, agnostic, etc who may not feel comfortable saying "under god"
