Does anything Bush ever did campare by a fraction to Opperation Reinhardt? Infact can any of you even tell me what Opperation Reinhardt was? Why don't any of you ever study history before comparing it to current events?

Coragrypgh. He is not holding them based on race of religion,he is holding them as POW's for interrogation at places like Guantanamo because civilian courts have already demonstrated that they don't wan't to fight the war on terror.

Aleem D.Those incidents where our troops killed civilians were accidental or were commited by a few bad apples in our military. Most civilians were killed by Iraqi's,not by us and we aren't putting a gun to their heads and telling them to kill each other. And yes those bad apples do get punshed all though the media will not want to tell you that.

Yo pey.If Bush is only worried about oil then why doesn't he redeploy all troops and have them gaurd the oil wells and let the rest of the country go all to hell? And last time I checked there has not been a terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11 and a lot of terror plots were foiled. So maybe he is doing whats best for his fellow Americans.

corogryph: federal law does not protect terrorists and they are also not protected by the geneva convention. And you're right, the courts are capable of handling this but they just simply refuse to take it seriously

It's unfair to lump all Liberals in the "ignorant/i think bush is as bad as hitler" category. I've found that most liberals are more knowledgeable when it comes to politics and historical events than most conservatives. Conservatives do tend to bring more emotion into their telling of "historical events" and "factual arguments" than most liberals. Personally, I probably lay more toward the liberal side, but i more or less ride the fence. I'm not a democrat nor a republican. I simply go with the best points and what i feel will better the country. Just wanted to mention that even though i didn't answer your question. I just feel that if you're going to ask for an answer based on opinions, your question should at least show that you're some what open minded and open to a difference of opinion. You were extremely accusatory, and showed that you more than likely will not accept anything you're told regardless of the response.

Take a look at the Nirenberg trial photos, then tell us that Bush is like Hitler. If he is,, than Hillary is Eva Brawn, now that is more valid a comparison.
It was terrible what Hitler did to the Jews and other ethnic groups. It is shameful that the Dem's have no respect for Jews and the sorrowful memories of those who lost loved ones.
But then didn't they, in the past years, make a political event out of someones funeral.
Peoples lives have been ruined by Hillary and her nut spell of firing people ie...the white house travel staff.
The Dems are stirring the pot again with seeds of hatred and fear.
Soon, they will start on Medicare and social security failing again, which they did nothing about during Bill's rule.
It is getting old.

I'm not a liberal or conservative. I don't think bush is like hitler but I think he is more like our brave men who fought in world war 2. Sometimes you have to do things that the majority of people won't agree with and it takes a good leader to do that. He's not perfect just like the rest of the complainers. When we dropped 2 bombs in japan it was the right thing to do and I see the war in iraq the same way. Should we all just turn a blind eye to the people who were being killed and tortured under sadaam? I'm sure all you guys complaining would welcome a chance to be liberated if sadaam was president of the united states. Do a little reading on the guy before you claim we were wrong to go there. You eknights and princesses digust me with your ignorance. Look at the bigger picture and stop following the media like sheep you sheepeople.

If they study history, then they won't be able to make the correlation between the two. It's something I see liberals do often: ignore facts when they become inconvenient. No, I don't think Bush is the greatest ever, but since 9/11, there's really been nothing but crappy choices available. If they weren't blinded by facts, then they would at least admit that Bush's options were rather limited.

Operation Reinhardt, named after it's chief planner Reinhardt Heydrich, second in command of the Shutz Staffel (SS) and chief planner of the extermination of the Gypsy's, Jews and other "undesirables".
This was the plan to murder Polish jews, political opponents , the intellegencia and others in the early stages of the war after Germany had defeated Poland.

Any other questions?

Bill Clinton's greatest failure as president details how his indecisiveness, negligence, poor judgment and denigration of the U.S. military made America an open target for the terrorist attacks of 9/11.

Eight years before 9/11, on Feb. 26, 1993, Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida terrorist network declared war against the United States with a deadly attack on the World Trade Center. Al-Qaida continued to wage war on the U.S. throughout the Clinton administration, attacking Khobar Towers in 1996, two U.S. embassies in East Africa in 1998, and the U.S.S. Cole in 2000.

How could these attacks happen? How could al-Qaida wage these assaults against the strongest, best-defended nation in the world? "Intelligence Failure" Clinton's most grievous failure as president of the United States. Clinton's poor leadership and denigration of both the U.S. military and intelligence services exposed America to terrorist assault.

"September 11, 2001, may have happened under Bush's watch," "But it will always remain Clinton's legacy."

Where do you get off making a hasty generalization like that? This question is already biased because you are assuming that liberals believe Bush is as bad as Hitler. I a moderate liberal, and while I do not like Bush's policies, I am sure he never massacred millions of Jews!
