Are the Democratic and Republican Parties both about to fracture into pieces?

I wouldn't be surpised if we saw a major split in both houses. I think we will see many sub parties within each major party.

Nope-jsut the Republicans. And long overdue. The GOP was hijacked years ago by the right-wing--and a major fracture is inevitable as a prelude to genuine Republicans regaining control the party and restoring it to its former greatness.

The democratic Party seems split in a dozen ways--but for them that's normal! :)

Just the Democratic party. Republicans are the only ones who envision a Strong, Intelligent, United Nation. Dems just picture themselves actually winning an election.

I hope so both dems and reps should be punished for taking the American people for granted and being arrogant where we are concerened

they work for us not the other way around

Lets hope an independent like Lou Dobbs runs we need a strong independent voice

Perhaps, but maybe it is just my own personal fantasy that people will soon wake up and realize that voting for either is like having phone sex; once it's over, you realize three things:

1) They just got a bunch of your money
2) They aren't coming over to see you
3) The real thing would be a lot better.

I generally vote Republican, but it wouldn't break my heart if they both came crumbling down. We would be so much more efficient without political parties.

i would have to say yes..i think this world is about to come apart at the seams regardless of who's in the white house..the next several years are going to be a real mother...
