They are afraid, but it's the only strategy they have right now. The Bush administration has been such a dismal failure for the last six years that the neo-cons don't have the political legs to attack anyone else's political record.
So instead they go after Hillary as a woman, Obama's middle name, and Edwards haircut.

Your question is a typical liberal ploy. A female running for president isn't the issue. It's about Hilary being Hilary. She is another flip-flop demon-crat. Her views only reflect what her spin-doctors tell her is popular. She has little or no applicable experience to even be considered for the job and offers no more than the usual "tax and spend" appeasement programs the dems are notorious for. Condoleezza Rice would be a much stronger female leader. She has considerably more experience and appears to be more of a centrist than most. But your idealogy wouldn't allow for that would it?
TO MITCHELL: Break out of your left-wing trance. Your party has no answers, no logic and no backbone!

The problem with Hillary isn't her gender, whatever it is. It's that she's a Socialist. I suspect that if Condoleeza Rice ran, she'd garner wide support from the GOP. The dems on the other hand would be talking about how she's a traitor to her race.

Democracy and equal opportunity! Hah!, that's a good one. We're so good at democracy, we've seen fit to try to force it down the throats of folks the world over. Look at all the sucesses we've had with it. And we're a world leader when it come to equal opportunity- never had a female head of government, only recently elected a female #3, women can expect to earn 80 cents for every $1 their male counterpart earns for the same job. Then there's the minorities, handicapped, gays and lesbians...they're certainly enjoying "equal opportunity" and equal rights aren't they!?

Republicans are not afraid of electing a woman president. I know you don't expect GOP support for Hillary simply because she's a woman. However, Republicans would vote for a Condoleeza Rice.

They aren't
It's all a political show
She has the same main goal of a One World Government
Just like Bush and Cheney
It doesn't matter to them who wins - just as long as its not the only real American for America - Ron Paul!
If we elect anyone other than him - nothing will change for another 4-8 years.
If they use the corrupt Diebold voting machines again, it will not matter who we vote for!
Push for an election paper trail!
Vote for Ron Paul

We're not afraid of a woman, although I don't think a woman should be president. We're afraid of her Socialist views on everything. It totally goes against every belief this country was founded on.
