Certainly enough to HELP solve the current crisis in affordable housing.

Its not just £200,000 family houses that will be built. Social houses are often smaller and cheaper - ie costing around £100,000 - £150,000 (remember most houses are sold and valued for more than they're actually WORTH) plus some of that money would go into building flats and maisonettes for single or elderly people so they'd get more than 40,000 dwellings out of it.
