Serbia is a young country and after years of living under Milosevic dictatorship, do Serbs understand that free speech works both ways? You must allow what you disagree with not just what you support.

It is difficult to voice you opinion in Serbia if it goes against the tide.
Human rights campaigners such as Natasa Kandic and Sonja Biserko who point out Serbia's crimes against it's neighbors receive death threats.
http://www.ifex.org/da/content/view/full/76869/

Even reforming president Zoran Dzindzic was murdered by those who were against change.

How can Serbia, face up to it's past crimes and become a modern decomcracy that respects human rights, when there are so many cowards that will bully anybody who is trying to tell the truth into silence

Is it true that if your only news source devotes only 6% of air time to a MAJOR negative news item, you will be more prone to support that item?

Other newscasts devote up to 20% of their air time to the Iraq occupation.

Is it "scaremongering" to report on the Iraq war?

Or is it "fair and balanced" to bury the issue in other news items?/

Is that "fair and balanced"? A HUGE agenda item with the American people. 6%?

By the way...I did used to watch Fox News...so don't come after me. I just decided that I didn't like their reporting methods. And Wild Bill O. gave me a headache every time his show was on. Yes...I did try to watch it...for a year or two even. I just couldn't take the foolish blathering.

They can have their votes of no confidence, but it's not going to make the determination about who serves in my government," Bush said in Sofia, Bulgaria, the last stop on a weeklong visit to Europe.

"This process has been drug out a long time," Bush added. "It's political."

The attorney general said he didn't plan on leaving anytime soon.

In the Senate, seven Republicans voted with Democrats to advance the no confidence resolution.

Even before the controversy over fired prosecutors, lawmakers of both parties complained that Gonzales allowed Justice to violate civil liberties on a host of other issues — such as implementing Bush's warrantless wiretapping program.

One veteran Republican said Gonzales had used up all his political capital in the Senate.

"There is no confidence in the attorney general..."

What on earth is going thru the President's head?

I am also glad he is planning on forming the North America Union.

I support His Patriot Acts, Where they can secretly execute you.

I also support Bush killing 3000 innocent people on 911.

I say no they should not -
That there must be a 100% civilian board that has the power to fire cops after an investigation of wrong doing if warrented
I am tierd of hearing about a horrific event that police committed and then the phrase ending with suspendeed with pay -
I just don't think it is possible for a cop to be imparital in judgeing his/her peers and that it is unflective of the relationship of ta payer to public servant
There is the argument that civilains can't do it they don't "know" enough - I believe this is wrong -
For instance we use a jury system here - 12 ordinary people decide the fate of men when it comes to somthing important - like the guilt and innocence of a person - We do not use experts We use ordinary people, I believe we can use ordinary people to judge the actions of the public servants (the police)
Who could be better that the persons who feed them and their children - the employer - the tax payer to judge the recipents of our tax dollars

1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, and all government business will be conducted in our language.

2. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote, no matter how long they are here.

3. Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.

4. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, nor any other government assistance programs.

5. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.

6. If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be okay, BUT options will be restricted. You are not allowed to own
waterfront property. That property is reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.

7. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag, no political organizing, no "bad-mouthing" our
president or his policies. If you do you will be sent home.

8. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be hunted down and sent straight to jail.

I'm sure that all these illegals will soon have all the rights and privileges that Americans have. It doesn't seem fair that our ancestors had to observe quota, health exams, etc. when they came here, and some of them were sent back to the old country because they weren't deemed "good enough." How times have
changed!

Harsh, you say ?...

The above laws happen to be the immigration laws of " MEXICO " !

They say they believe in small government, but their administrations grow the government faster than their opposition.
They say they believe in fiscal responsibility, but their administrations can't stay within budget yet their opposition can.
They say to live within your means. But, most can be found living in extreme debt, while owning big houses and driving SUV's.
They talk about blue sky initiatives, but they really mean to relax regulations on industry to allow for more pollution. But if someone attempts to conserve (e.g. use alternative fuels, buy small efficient vehicles, or hug trees) they attack them as if it'll destroy the world.

When did conservative start meaning use all the worlds resources as fast as possible, instill fear, and provoke wars in order to achieve the end of the human race?

How is it you can be a conservative and be so wasteful?
