1 All illegals must sign a contract to learn English and respect the American way of life.
2. Only qualified immigrants will be granted citizenship, and not unskilled immigrants . Other countries accept immigrants only if they add positive skills to their economies.
3. They should be allowed only into the U.S. to work and not live off any benefits such as welfare and free healthcare.
4. Migrants must agree to learn English.
5. Build the fence at the border the rest of the way, not just the current 200 miles.
6.Illegals will pay taxes to work in this country because everyone else does.
7. Any illegals found to be criminals will not be allowed entry into the U.S. or those currently here will be deported.
8. They can apply for legal citizenship after 10 years.
9. Eliminate anchor baby law.
10. Fines should be paid for illegals currently here. But it will be difficult to hunt them down and make them pay unless there is a tax for the fine taken out of their checks.
11. Hold Mexico accountable for its economy and advise them on building a good workforce.

what people are objecting to is that not all immigrants from all countries who have entered or are entering the USA are being treated "equal". "Equal" is the key word.

We already have a law in place for the fence and closing the boarder it's just that it's not totally enforced, and, our boarder security guards are getting the shaft (jail time for doing their job). So the old law has to be updated before any new law can be put into effect. And, we already have a law in effect for many years now as to the requirements for citizenship. The problem these days is that illegals don't want to become a citizen, what they want is to take back what they think is their property. And they are breaking a lot of US laws and they don't care if they break the laws, and its costing the US government a lot more than they did just living here and bilking the system.

!) Prosecute and fine, (Jail the worst) all those who hire illegals.
2) When the jobs dry up, let them find their OWN way back home at NO expense to the American tax payer.
3) Secure ALL entries in to the U.S.A. and allow No One and No Thing to enter without being checked. (A homeland security issue that CANNOT be separated from the immigration issue.
4) Make it easier and more efficient for non-citizens to become temporary MIGRANT workers.
5) Establish enforceable and practical guidelines for those who want to become citizens to do so.
6) NO MORE ANCHOR BABIES!
7) NO tax-payer financed benefits for temporary workers. Those doing the hiring must provide health care benefits.
8) All who are here legally are provided full legal protections and representation according to established laws. If here ILLEGALLY, such protections cannot be expected.
9) Protesting and public demonstrations aimed at changing our laws and culture Will result in immediate loss of legal status and loss of employment.
10) Establish English as the official LEGAL language of the U.S.A.
11) Encourage other nation to eliminate the tyranny and elitism that denies their own citizens the opportunity to profit from their own labors. Encourage FREE ENTERPRISE. That will reduce the pressures on their citizens to leave their own families and cultures to come here for the opportunity they seek.
That will also help balance trade and reduce to trend toward exporting jobs over-seas where "slave" labor is cheap.

Not good enough! The politicians MUST see that what is going on is totally unacceptable to ALL Americans these days. They must take responsibility and do the right thing here - that is CLOSE ALL THE BORDERS AND DEPORT ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WHEREVER THEY CAME FROM AND DO NOT ALLOW ANYMORE GREEN CARDS OR VISAS FOR ANYBODY!

griffyn10941 - Dude, my family can't show proof that we've been in this country for 5 generations. I know for a fact that I'm at least a 3rd generation American. Four generations would put my family back to the early 1940's and five would be possibly the 1920's if not a couple years before that. You know we Mexicans have kids at young ages right?!

Anyone that can't document that his or her family has been in the country for at least 5 generations get the hell out. Then seal the borders and allow absolutely no one else in. Would really solve our growing population problem.
