make back seats to raise up to the height level requirments? I wonder what excuse state lawmakers will use if someone had their back seat taken out and lifted. Washington state law is 8 years old or 4' 9" and child must be over 13 to ride in front seat. Most back seats only have 3 seat belts which makes it impossible for my neighbor to pick up his 5 kids from school at the same time. Yet it is ok for a kid to ride in a truck bed. Makes me wonder if lawmakers are concerned about safety or more ways to increase revenue. Some people believe the "underdeveloped stomach muscle" excuse they are using. I don't. I was was in a serious car accident when I was a kid and the seat belt did not do any damage to my stomach musles. Neither did getting kicked in the stomach by a horse or hanging upside down in a ferris wheel with the belt digging into my stomach for 20 minutes until they fixed it. Hogwash to the lawmakers....

No, it was not George Washington.
Under The First Articles of Confederation (effective 1781-1789) there were 8 others elected, each serving to one year terms.
Washington was only the first president under the new Federal Constitution.
The very first president of the U.S. was John Hanson.
This would mean George Bush, Sr. is number 49 and George bush, Jr. is number 51.

"Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale, and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled or hanged."

President Lincoln said that and I happen to agree. Isn't our Congress guilty of this?

I was flipping through the channels and came across CSPAN where the British House of Commons was in session. Some dude or lady approaches the table and says something, a bunch of people yell, then Tony Blair responds. What is going on here?

Downtown Houston, Texas, May 1, 2006. Jim Moore was reporting for KHOU-TV, a Houston TV station working an interview with an illegal immigrant. The following is a transcript of that interview.

Jim: Juan, I see that you and thousands of other protesters are
marching in the streets to demonstrate for your cause. Exactly what is
your cause and what do you expect to accomplish by this protest?

Juan: We want our rights. We will show you how powerful we
are. We will bring Houston to its knees!

Jim: What rights?

Juan: Our right to live here...legally. Our right to get all the benefits you get.

Jim: When did you come to the United States?

Juan: Six years ago. I crossed over the border at night with seven other friends.

Jim: Why did you come?

I think this may be the case, if these countries were "allowed" to develop.
1. they would be able to get a fair price for their commodities / mineral wealth
2. they would be a considerable opponent on the world trading markets

America doesn't want blanket amnesty, the politicians are pushing it and Bush is lying and saying he is getting tough on illegal immigration.

Please read the bi-laws and subsections of the new open immigration bill:
