For her own personal attention getter?

Bree Walker, will be purchasing Cindy Sheehan's 5-acre property near the Bush ranch in Crawford, Texas,

Walker, currently a resident of San Diego, was previously a television news anchor in Los Angles and New York. She confirmed the news to us moments ago, in an exclusive interview, that she intends to keep the property "as a ground for freedom and peace" and is considering erecting a memorial there for troops killed in Iraq. She hopes to create a meditation garden on the grounds and to keep it open to the public.

Why do the Republicans hate folks who do good
for the troops who die & try to create memorials for them?

It's not even in the Constitution? In fact, it's not found in any political document or legislation whatsoever. It was simply a quote from Thomas Jefferson. It reads:

"I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between Church and State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience."

Thomas Jefferson - Letter written to Danbury Baptists, 1802

So, how are these people who are attempting to rewrite history able to legitimately use this doctrine to support their cause?

Why is everyone so upset about how easy paris got off??? She didn't hurt anyone???
Actually I believe she got away far too easy, but to make my point I said it that way.
If one is upset with that, WHY aren't you upset with the way ted kennedy got away with man slaughter?? Why is he still in the senete and why hasn't anyone called for him to be in prison??

Several days ago, a Catholic Bishop in Rhode Island came out against Rudi Guiliani's presidential bid - and a few weeks earlier, a Catholic Cardinal had urged passage of the pending immigration bill. Among the Evangelicals, Jerry Falwell isn't around any more, but James Dotson is, and I saw him on CNN recently, arguing that he has a right to tell his followers how to vote. Does he? Do tax-emept religious organizations have the right to interfere in domestic politics?

In a war game during the clinton administration the military determined they would need 400 to 500,000 troops for a period of 4 to 5 yrs to achieve our goals and that even then it may not work do to outside influences (Iran,Al queda)
So I suggest we either give them what they asked for or get them out of harms way.Gwb never gave them half of that. I would think the military knows what they need more than gwb does. Now then... after saying that who is it that hasnt been supporting our troops?

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table... Everywhere.

Then some of the birds turned mean: They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud: They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore. I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. Soon, the back yard was like it used to be... Quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal.

Now lets see... Our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care, free Education and allows anyone born here to be a automatic citizen. Then the illegals came by the Tens of thousands. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families: you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor: your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English: Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.

Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder !!!!

Just take a minute and let it sink in how destructive you are and how you are undermining your own country and making a mockery of this great Republic your ancestors thrived to make possible for you! The brutality in our streets, the routine killings around the discotheques, the proliferation of rape and violence within the family - all these have undoubtedly been influenced by the day-to-day reality of the occupation. After all, it's the same people who are doing it.

This is what they mean to me: A liberal person is one who thinks everyone should do what they think is good for them. Basically, very open minded people tend to be liberal.
Democrats: People who want to PROGRESS
Republicans: People who have very strict ideologies they want to follow. They have certain morals that they don't want to deviate from.
Am I right or did I just make this all up from my head?

I notice a lot of people are quick to answer a question they agree with.
Do you look at the profile before hand? If someone who has asked a dozen racist questions against black asks a question about who supports racist black groups with a commentary about how bad they are, do you carelessly answer how right the question poster is? Do you encourage someone you would normally never associate with?

Has this become a place where the neediest people, the most hateful, can get fans and praise despite everything else they say?

When all it takes is a few clicks on their profile and a little reading, do you now no longer care what the reputation is of people whom you agree with and stand with?

I used to hear people in my party who spoke up all the time. They said things I disagreed with, and when they attacked the opposing party, I stayed silent. After all, it wasn't ME speaking.

Is that you? Are you silent, or agreeing when they say something you like, silent otherwise?

It's not me.
