No, actually the extremist agenda of Republicans allows extremist Ahmadinejad to stir up his own extremist base. He can point to the "grave and gathering danger" of American intervention. US Republicans keep him in power.

The entire World is hoping for the Democrats to win. Iran running ruff-shod over the World...that's a bit of an embellishment. Westhill hit the nail on the head.

No matter how anyone tries to spin it, the terrorists, Syrians, Iranians and North Koreans want the democrats to win and win big. It is no secret that democrats do not have the fortitude to oppose the evil these people are propagating.

The extreme left wing is admittedly anti-war, anti-military and blame America first. I don't think most people realize that if the democrats win they will allow terrorism to spread and endanger much more of the world.

If any democrat gets in the White House this time and fails to actively oppose radical Islam, the democratic party will be tossed out on it's ear and probably will no longer be a major party in American politics. It is that important.

But the "anti-war at all cost" democrats will not allow them to act. Expect to see a lot of demonstrations and shouting down of democrats who try to do the right thing.

If we get a democratic president, he/she is in for a hell of a ride. The terrorists know they have only four years to do as much building of their own strength and destroying of the west before the chance of a strong leader taking control of America again.

I don't think the President of Iran really gives a toss who is in charge of the whitehouse this week or next!....He appears to be a very strong minded man who has his own agenda. I don't think Europe or America will deflect or pressure him from achieving his aims whatever they may be!.

I don't accept the premise of your question, that democrats would somehow empower Ahmadinejad in a way that republicans would not.
