Can you list some good charities for me?

I am trying to compile a list of good charities. Do you know any. anything would help, thanks!

thanks, pouchie, but thats not what Im using it for, and, also, Im trying to find smaller charities who do give the money to people, since I can exactly fly to Africa everyone month or year, or whenever i feel charitable, but thanks anyways

UNHCR -- that's the organization for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

A great organization that helps refugees fleeing war zones.

They feed them and give them necessities; when it's safe, they return them with building materials and other things they can use to put their lives back together.

NRDC: Natural Resources Defence Council: they use the law to prevent environmental destruction.

Amnesty International: They are trying to rid the world of torture and the death penalty.

There are a bunch of organizations that issue micro-loans to women in 3rd world countries, so they can start businesses and pull themselves and their families out of poverty.

My favorite charity is Heifer International in Little Rock, Arkansas. Visit www.heifer.org for more information.
The organization has worked for 63 years to assist impoverished families become more self-reliant by providing gifts of livestock and agriculture that alleviate poverty and hunger. Its programs re rated among the very best in the world. -RKO- 06/11/07

By pass the organizations & give the money directly to those who need it. That way 100% of your money goes to the person in need not 10%.
