Before abortions were legal and available in clinics, women were often forced to seek illegal abortions in unsafe, unsanitary conditions. Instruments like clothes hangers and lye douches(!) were sometimes used. Often not only would the fetuses die, but the mothers would, as well. Some may argue that these women brought the situation upon themselves, but sometimes these women were rape victims. Sometimes they were frightened, confused teenagers who were afraid of telling their parents they were pregnant. Sometimes these women were single and lived in a time and place in which single motherhood was frowned upon. The situations vary. But either way, doesn't it make more sense to pass legislation that would at least protect the health and safety of the women who seek abortions, rather than allowing not only the fetuses, but also their mothers, to die?

Everyone stumbles from time to time and needs a hand up. But how can anyone justify generational state and government aid? Do people in politics want these people dependent on them to ensure job security for the politicians?

I remember reading that all other countries made their own air tests and found no nuclear particles in their airspace after North Korea tested their nuclear bomb. And then a couple of days afterwards, the US said they had proof of nuclear air particles. I ask, where did they get these samples from if it was from the same air the other countries found no evidence? Don't you find it a little strange or do you think it is a cover up?

to neck race. Suspicious? I think so. If you thought Bush had something to do with 9/11 then you have to see the connection with the terrorists and democrats, (chavez calling bush the devil, CNN is now a terrorist propaganda machine as well as a democrat agenda machine, increased bombing in an unpopular Iraq war suddenly 2 weeks before elections)

Is it me or did most of the violence from the Middle East start when oil was discovered. Not to mention how much terrorist money comes directily or indirectly from oil.

this leads me to think that in 50 or so years when the Middle East is out of oil or the world dose not run on it anymore that terroism will also vanish.

anyone else have this thought?
