Is it me or did most of the violence from the Middle East start when oil was discovered. Not to mention how much terrorist money comes directily or indirectly from oil.

this leads me to think that in 50 or so years when the Middle East is out of oil or the world dose not run on it anymore that terroism will also vanish.

anyone else have this thought?

Violence has been a part of human history since the beginning of mankind. As long as there are people who want power, money, control over other people, control over resources, etc, there will be violence in this world. Such people use whatever methods they can find, to try to get what they want. The causes of terrorism come from the motives of the people who are leading terrorist organizations. Oil, religion, etc, aren't the reasons for the terrorism, they are merely excuses that these evil people have chosen to hide their own agenda behind. Especially religion! So many evils have been done by people using religion as their excuse, because other people tend to think that isomething being done for their God, for their faith, etc, is acceptable behavior, or more acceptable behavior than it would otherwise be.

yes terroism started at middle east, one of the reason was oil. Remember troops from all around the world got 2gether some times back 2 fight aganist sadam 2 prevent him from taking control over oil fields there. But i don't think that terroism will also vanish with oil.

That has always been one of the most violent regions of the world.Way before oil was found to be abundant there.
Terrorism is only indirectly connected to oil.
It is directly connected to Religion. If oil ran out there it would have little affect on terrorism. It might even increase it.

Jews, Arabs, and Palestinians (formerly known as "Phillistines") have fought bloody ideological, religious, and territorial battles for thousands of years, ever since the days of Abraham's offsping. In more recent years, the U.S. has had trouble with the Middle East (and Libya, in particular, if you can call that the "Middle East") since its founding days (US Marine Corp Hymn: "From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli, we will fight our countries battles on the land and on the sea."). So, no, I don't think it started with the discovery of oil.

There was nothing there before oil, The U.S. and other country's set up an industry for them, and gave them a market for there oil. Is it our fault that their leaders take their money from them, and spend it on themselves ? Why do we get punished for building a world market for them ? Is it our fault that the world views them as the worst business people in the world, and nobody wants to deal w/them because they are so impossible to deal with ?????

Nope, there is also gun trade and drugs. It is not only about the oil. The oil is just a factor to keep political stability and economic welfare. It is all about power and influence and all means are used to gain that.
