Why in the world would I vote for grown men that act like kid's in a argument and they call it debate ? I did not vote for Bush or Kerry . There has not been anyone that I consider worthy of President that has ran for office . Is it the way our country is heading to be lead by these so called men .

You may find many who will say that if you did not vote, you have no right to complain about what happens in this country.
They are entitled to their opinion, but remember, they are voting to support your right to not vote.
I concur with your sentiment that there are no persons looking out for our best interests, and there is no reason to vote for someone who does not fit with your ideas, or policies.
You can still do your part by voting your conscience, and writing in someones name who you would like to speak for you, including your own name.
( until only electronic voting is here, then write in names will be illegal)
No taxation without representation should be upheld, and if they are not representing your interests, then they should not be taking your taxes, in order to tell you you have no rights except the ones they choose to give you.

The decision to vote should be an easy one, as the people that you help elect have a very real and important say in the way your daily life is run. The hard decision is who to vote for. I know that with the high amount of negative campaigns and the politicians refusing to take a stand on any issue makes it hard to select a candidate that you feel is qualified to represent you. The two party system that the US has, leads to very heated debates on issues where most people are middle of the road. What I do is find the candidate that fits the most of your requirements for a representative in the particular office (which varies from Republican, Democrat or Independent depending on the office). Please vote, no vote is ever wasted.

I consider Dennis Kucinich who ran in 2004 for president to be a worthy candidate of the people.

He is one of the most highly principled people I ever met and has many times been favorably compared to Abe Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Bobby Kennedy, and Roosevelt.

Not only is he honest and highly intelligent, he is compassionate and incorruptible in my opinion..

I voted for Kerry just because I really didnt want bush. I really dont care about voting for mayors and representatives, beause i dont really care. Nothing they do really effects anything. They all get up and do the same boring sounding speeches.

I vote, I have done so every congressional and presidentual election since 1968. The reason I do it is if I don't vote I got no reason to biotch, I want my voice heard, that is important to me as an American.

Do this -- go into the booth, and don't vote for anyone. That is your vote, and you are still supporting the right to vote
