"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you."We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good," the former first lady Hillary Clinton admitted.

Have we all just become indifferent? Scandal after scandal and nobody loses their jobs and we just watch. People in power are not held to any standard it seems and i have watched where people failed to do their job or made huge mistakes and miscalculations and instead of losing their jobs they were rewarded. If a guy working in a factory is late or not doing his job he loses it and if not he is DEFINITELY reprimanded but people in power seem to be able to do what they want without fear or repercussions. What is wrong with us as voters, as taxpayers,as citizens?

I mean they only said that they did, they could be lying just to stir things up like North Korea is prone to do. And i havent heard anything about sizemic activity going on besides that earthquake that happened near Japan around that time. But that was proven not to be a nuke test.

I think the North of England as everything is cheaper than the south so people have more disposable income. Yes, people down south may get payed a little more (not a lot as my pay wouldn't change drastically in London) but everything down south costs so much its too hard to afford to live. Case Study: I was in Morrisons the other day and I heard a southern family talking. The Daugther said to her mother " Why do we have to live here? I want to go back down south with my friends." Mother: "If you don't want us to be able to afford to eat then will move back down south!"

There are several theories doing the rounds on the issue. We do get a feeling that there is something more than the eyes meet for U.S.A and its allies continuing to stay in Iraq despite the death of several soldiers on a daily basis. Is it the oil? Are they afraid that Iran might take over Iraq and become a world power?
