Yes.

As soon as they convene.

For those who don't know the reason, please take your head out of the sand long enough to read the 20 reasons detailed here;

No, and Nancy Pelosi said that she would not do this. Although I would love to see Bush and Cheney to be removed from office in disgrace, I don't think it would help our situation. The best thing the Democrats can do is to make the President impotent for the next two years. Remove the Republicans from every position of power in the Senate and House, turn down unacceptable nominations for the Supreme Court, remove Bolton as Ambassador. Cut off war funding. Make homeland security real instead of the BS it is now (stopping old women at airports isn't securing anything except bad taste)

The Democrats aren't gonna retake Congress this time around and even if they did an Impeachment is bound to fail considering 1st of all Impeached does not mean removed.

2 Presidents were Impeached but aquitted (Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton).

55 Senators voted Clinton Guilty on one count and 50 voted Guilty on another count, so while a Majority did vote him as Guilty at the time on one count, it was not enough for a conviction/removal because 67 Senators or more have to vote Guilty in order for the President to be Convicted/Removed.

So it is unlikely that Bush would be removed even if the Democrats did retake Congress.

Bush can't run in 2008 anyways so why don't you just wait it out please if you are really that desperate to see him out of office.

How do you check if I'm of voting age????
But seriously, NO. Impeachment proceedings isn't going to help the USA in any way.
It would just increase partisanship and that is the last thing the USA needs.

For What? They can and should start impeachment proceedings only if they can do so with the rules delineated in the Constitution. Bush has been charged with no crimes. The rules of Impeachment do not include because I don't agree with the way you have done your job.

Not if they want to win in 2008. They will look like desperate people on a witch-hunt, that are distracting the President during a War and nuclear stand-off. In short they'll only hurt themselves if they do. That's why even Pelosi is coming out against it.

Of course they should, (they won't though.) This president has violated so many laws, and many of his violations qualify as treason. He also should be tried in world court as a war criminal. (Again it won't happen.) It is ridiculous that getting a ******** is an impeachable offense and no one cares about people getting killed because of lies and distortions.

You need the house speaker's support. If she gets it she has already publicly announced that she would not waste time impeaching the LAME DUCK! SO either way that's not going to happen! But it is justifiable in my opinion!

Well, if they do, they would have 51% of the population supporting them.

Actually Pelosi believes it to be a waste of time, so it probably won't happen. She would be speaker of the house after all.

In order to impeach, you have to have a person who has commited a crime, which President Bush has not, there fore it would be impossible to impeach him.. But, I think you already knew that..

Under the Constitution, a President, VicePresident, etc. can be impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors."

Bush did not commit either of these, so no, he ought not be impeached for anything.
