After the news (a couple of months ago) that the ECC had decieded that all bananas sold within the ECC should be straight, we now have the 'edict' that all fresh pineapples sold within the Community should be 'prickle free'!!
About time they made a sensible ruling dont you think? At least now we can see that our money is not being wasted on this group!!

The European Common Market must be lenient in trade agreements particularly in the sale of goods such as bananas in order nor to antagonize producers and consumers.
