The main reason I believe it will have to be done by a 3rd party is because of the lobbying mess, you see the money has control, all of the news media is owned by the corps and they do the lobbying thru their tenacles, it is all intertwined and the established parties can't cut or won't cut the strings and until the strings are cut the healing can't begin, we must go back to we the people, face it and give up on the dems and repubs, turn away in mass and we can fix it and don't worry a leader will emerge.

These punks on yahoo have NO backbone, They are as phony & fake as it gets! Most of them live at home with thier parents, whom pay for everything & brainwash them with politics and Hypocratic Chistian ways. They are soft targets for warfare they are chicken. They would rather sit around think & make-up excuses for what is NOT reality then fight for truth, honesty,& justice for the legal majority! These people are shamefull & lowest moral form of human life! Ya i have backbone to fight but not enough resources or time to educate the clueless on how to make the right changes in the right priority.

I agree with you in principle. I have always felt that political parties were wrong. But in many areas, it is virtually impossible to get on a ballot unless you have a major party affiliation.

I think we should let the candidates state what they will do, and vote for the man or woman who wants the job, based on what qualifications they have and what they plan to do, not whether they are Republican or Democrat. That's the way I try to vote now.

I fear a third party candidate would just be tied to the tenets of whatever the third party was, which would be just as bad as a Republican or Democrat.

You are right, change must be made. And that change needs to start with every citizen. Because until we are all once again first and foremost Americans, no change will occur.

EXCELLENT >>>>>

im voting constitution party. there are only 2 running in wisconsin but that's where my vote is going.

i sure wish the reform party, the constitution party and the american party would get together and form a VIABLE 3rd party to challenge the current lying, theiving murdering dems and repubs currently in office.

then there would be a REAL chance to send and AMERICAN message to the terrorists currently in washington.

My vote is to work within the Republican party and get rid of the cancer. They knocked out Murkowski in Alaska. There was a Congressman in Michigan who got axed too. The worst part of the Republican party is allowing moderates who are not real Republicans to stay see Chaffee in RI.

How about getting rid of the current party system all together. It is not conducive to Washington at all. Is skews the Checks and balances, increases corruption, and all they do is fight and never get anything done. and never talk about issues just he said she said.

Introduce me to a third party candidate who will do things better!

I agree it would be great, but right now it falls in the wishful thinking category.

Who is a viable candidate? Nobody. There isn't anyone strong enough to vote for. No substance or experience.
