WE HAVE reinforced their hatred for the west,to the benefit of the rich on both sides.WE have poisoned their ground water for 100 years.by using depleted uranium ordinance. The big mony people seem to have no intention of assisting the masses of people exept to cull as many as possible and then blame it on the little guys.although it does seem atractive that a major reduction in world population would make it a lot easier for the KINGS.

If you sign up for boot camp, what happens after 6-9 weeks is over? Don't you get a choice to go further in a military career or go home?

In the news recently, we often hear that our armed forces are being stretched to "the breaking point". I understand what is meant by them being streatched too thin. A finite amount of soldiers and resources are being over worked and spread out over too large of an area.
But what is the breaking point? And what does it mean to then say that the military is "broken". Does it mean that's when we have lost? When all soldiers are dead (can't be this)? When we start losing battles? When we lose captured territory?

If we reach the breaking point, what does this mean for all of us, at home and abroad?

for the past few months all I have been hearing of are people protesting the war in Iraq. Why? why do the American people desire failure in Iraq. to leave iraq means we hand over the victory to the terrorist, we allow terrorist to regain control of Iraq, and then allowing the terrorist to go on a massive onslaught of the people as they have been doing in the past. why are there so many cowards in America, that do not believe in accomplishing our mission. The true Americans are the ones fighting and supporting our mission to achieve success. Why do the American people not care for the other lives of the people of Iraq? if we leave were sentencing them to death by the hands of the terrorist. and I doubt anyone wants to be responsible for that, because that is whats going to happen if we leave. there are only a few of us Americans left that desire victory and success, but we have been outnumbered by selfish and cowardice people. the govt is the only thing standing up to the terrorist.

I don't know anything about guns, but assume we're talking about some kind of basic, low-level army issue weapon, nothing super sophisticated. How far away would you hear the shots if you're in a wide open area with no wind? Is it possible someone could be 3 miles away and not hear anything?

It makes me so angry when I meet someone who is dressed up like they are in the military and bragging about fighting and serving our country and all they are is some scum that found an army uniform and they won't work a day in their life. There are so many people in the military who is really risking their lives, and don't forget the ones who have already been killed. I don't know how a person who really is in the military can stand seeing this kind of stuff b/c it happens a lot! If these people want to brag and wear the uniform, they need to get their rears overseas and let another soldier come home and then they'll have bragging rights!! To all you men and women who are keeping our land free, I salute you!!!!

Is there anyone here who writes to the troops in Iraq? I don't know anyone in Iraq, but I really want to support the troops over there or anywhere away from home in any kind of way. That means writing letters and sending care packages. Does anyone know how I can do that?

Do you think that pouring more troops in the region is correct solution to the Iraq situation?

I am a reserve vet and I dont agree with adding more troops. Our military is given 6 to 8 weeks for training and ready or not they go into combat. Why is it taking the Iraqis so long to get trained?
