Before 9/11 America was keen to be seen as helping the IRA to fight Britain. When the war in Iraq is over and Britain is no longer of any political use will you Americans continue to donate to the IRA to help kill our soldiers or will having a taste of being hit yourselves bring home the damage you have caused by making such donations.

Im saying that as long as we have WMD's that we should have no right to decide who else can develop weapons. Our military is willing to go to war in order to make sure other people have inferior militarys. Is this fair? Should some country invade us because we actually know for a fact that we have WMD's.

i personally think that all the people in Iraq that wanted him in power will rebel now and we will lose more and more soldiers.
WHy is America so STUPID?!?! sometimes i wonder. i mean i love this country and all it has to offer, but why do we need to invade other countries. LET THEM DO WHAT THEY WANT!!! WE ARE US?!?!? does anyone agree with me?

actually are. My concern is that at my age, that I couldn't complete both. I can run 2 miles in 20 minutes, do 35 push ups, and about 40 sit ups within the two minute time limit of the physical test.

I guess what concerns me the most is my back, and would like to know the duration of marches under what kind of equipment package people would typically carry. Right now I'm carrying a 60 lbs load for several miles, and wonder if that is sufficient to simulate the hardships of boot.

I wonder what your thoughts are around the execution of Saddam! I think we all can agree on what kind of person he was. What's interesting me here is how people feel and think about the future impact of the execution, and why it is that a "friend" of the US can turn into a "foe??"

I used to think stomping on ant hills was ok and fun. Now I look at myself in an ants shoes and see the grave mistake I made back then... How does a human find it to be acceptable to kill another human? What logic does a person use to justify this action? Shouldnt education of the other person be the goal before killing of that person?

It was different for me, way back in the 1990's. Female recruits trained separately and their block was strictly off-limits to us male recruits.

Of course, after you earn your rank and get posted out, you'd probably meet a few women in green during your time of duty.

Are things different now (the unisex training, that is)?

(Note: I live in Southeast Asia).

What is the symbol on tanks?
I've seen tanks with a symbol resembling a "private" rank. An old tank had a diamond shape symbol.

Why is it most US military personell that have served in Iraq believe we need to be there? Why is it the military is not having a hard time getting Iraq war vets to voluntarily reenlist when there contracts end? Why do a vast majority of military personell support President Bush, unlike when Clinton was in office.

Is the military more informed in what is really happening over there or would you have the courage to say the military is full of idiots that should be glad they have an income of any sort?

That is how it appears when people that have never been there and are not going to be there discuss wether I should have been there.

I would tell you my views on quantum physics but since I don't know enough about it I will keep my mouth closed and not look like an idiot by pretending like I do.

How may died per month in WW2?
8,200 on average.
50 on average in Iraq. One life lost sucks big time. But is often necessary. What would have happened if we had 24/7 media coverage on Bloody Omaha Beach? Would the USA have lost their will?
