i personally think that all the people in Iraq that wanted him in power will rebel now and we will lose more and more soldiers.
WHy is America so STUPID?!?! sometimes i wonder. i mean i love this country and all it has to offer, but why do we need to invade other countries. LET THEM DO WHAT THEY WANT!!! WE ARE US?!?!? does anyone agree with me?

I personally don't think killing Saddam will bring any peace because its like the old saying you kill one dictator 2 more will try to rise to power in there place.
America is not stupid by any means we just make questionable decisions concerning our foreign interest. Look at it like this if America did not intervene during Hitler's rise to power imagine what the world would be like today. Now imagine if America don't do anything about the Iran situation imagine what the world will be like tomorrow.

I dont think anyone expects peace...but the man got what he deserved..as twisted as it may seem many people can now rest assure that the horrible torture many of their loved ones faced unfairly has been in one way or another dealt with, revenge is not the word i would like to use but you gotta do what you gotta do! as for letting them do what they want..dont you think that if we can lend a helping hand then we should..i mean sometimes if one is capable of going the extra mile then it is certainly selfish not too. We are an extremely powerful nation that can make a difference to those who need it. Its horrible how we keep on losing soldiers i wont fight with you on that one..all we can do is hope there sacrifice will be the savior to many more.

I don't believe in capital punishment however the invasion of Iraq was largely Sadams own fault. After 911 America lost it's appetite for his games. It is a fact he had and used weapons of mass destruction. For hi to simply claim they had been destroyed but not no where it happened seemed unbelievable. Thats the problem when you tell one too many lies no one believes you any more. He had been playing games wit the united nations inspection team for years. . If he had been straight forward from the beginnning he might have been believed. I have nothing against the Iraq people or muslims but the name of the weapons games these days it what is verifiable. Which is why the Us and Russia open thier facilities to each others inspection.

wait a minute, you are calling America stupid.... Hello the person that sent out guys over there is the president and the people in power, do not be calling America stupid. You know what else there are a lot of people in that country that are relieved that Sodom is dead. Nothing can bring total peace. Everyone has arguments and view points and opinions. As long as human beings have opinions there will be some kind of violence. A lot of the soldiers over there do not want to be there but it is there job to be since they were the ones to sign up to be in the military. Their commander in chief (our president ) sent them.

I agree with you to a point. 1. The US is by no means stupid. You have to realize something, What goes on in other countries that goes unchecked can show up in Your back yard and bite you in the butt!! Our National security in the highest priority. So if there is a dictator that is planning to do some evil or support the evil doings of others, who is the biggest threat to the terrorists...the US, We are the largest beacon for freedom and democracy in the world. Tony Blair said it best , he was asked why he supported the US, simply put he stated that to gauge a country is to look at how many are trying to get in vs how many are trying to get out.
If we let countries with evil dictators do what they want, they will kill innocent civilians here in the US and around the globe until Democracy is dead. Is this what you want? Would you rather be wearing a berka living the extreme islamist lifestyle? You choose, its your freedom to do so. This is why we do what we do.

You have a very blurred vision of whats going on in the world. You need to stop relying on the daily show and MTV for your news, and look at things in a real prospective. Not the prospective the liberal media controls your mind with. Try to be a free thinker and not a kool-aid drinker. Can you tell me the world is not a better place with Saddam gone and the Taliban out of Afghanistan? Pull your head from your **** and support or troops dying for your safety liberating nations and vanquishing terror.

Peace? The execution only provides revenge for the thousands of innocents he tortured, murdered, gassed and intimidated.
I have yet to live in a world of Peace. The world will never see peace as that is our human condition for good or for evil.

OMG, you are just a child. Not only people in Iraq wanted this bastard dead, but, families of the victims he tortured. Do you know they found a mass grave with over 130 women, and children with a bullet in the back of their heads ??? How would you like to have been there, on your knees waiting for that shot. He also gassed his own people, he made people afraid of him, and they suffered gravely for that. Yes, I'm glad he's dead. It should of happened years ago. You need to grow up, and keep up with the news better then you have. ~~~~

---killing sadam will not bring peace or at least not yet.
but he had to die to pay for killing all those people in the twin towers and the people in his country and whom ever else if brutally murdered. a hanging was a less graphic death than he gave others. one way or another he had to die anyway.---
