Why don't we just ring the guy's mobile number and then track the signal to find out where it rings ?

We can then send a missile zooming in on the position and hit him before he has time to say "hello".

I have seen on this board many claims that at least 650,000 people have been killed since the US re-invaded Iraq. Where did this stat come from? Is it from a reliable source--the military, a reputable HR group like Amnesty Int'l--or from some Internet blogger on the lunatic fringe? I haven't seen a single primary or secondary source proving it, just a blanket claim from the anti-war left. So how many have really been killed? How many are civilians and how many terrorists or (dare I say it) legitimate insurgents? How many were killed by the Allies and how many by terrorist bombs? And of these terrorists, how many were al-Queda and how many Saddamy loyalists? But mostly, let's see some proof of the 650,000 claim.

Why is it considered "Relaxin" for basic training?

2006-12-02 10:35:11 · 7 answers · asked by Anonymous

They volunteer and are given training and orders. They sign up to do a job. A job assigned to them by the higher ups in the military. They HAVE to do certain things, even is it is to kill. Some never expect to have to make a decision to kill someone. But they do because it is their JOB. They cannot get out of it. It's a JOB. A nasty job in some instances. But they HAVE to do it.
The most we can do is to pray that this Iraq mess is soon over.

I was in the Navy on a destroyer. All we had onboard was a couple of Corpsmen. This was fine, they did good work. Is there an equivalent civilian position - what job can they get as a civilian?

(I figure most people - those with minor/common emergency needs - could get by with seeing the equivalent of a corpsman when they need a little medical attention.)

My respects and thanks to all past and present medics!

,most of them were innocent children and civilian people. There is no need to mention those who are tortured and raped by american and british soldiers and not recorded officially.I am a Turk, and I am completely for democracy and human rights, but now I came to understand that all democracy and human rights stuff are delusion created by the West and western oil companies. Am I wrong?

I'm hearing it too much, that English people feel like they dont get the same respect as we give our own troops in Iraq.

I think they matter too...and I salute those British soldiers too that fight and kill terrorists wherever.
what do you feel ?

Unless they state it in their questions/answers?
Each constituent accuses the other of the same thing. They have begun to call each other the same names.
BTW - if you review the earliest comments and questions, Dems were the first ones to call Reps - hitler, 1984, nazis, fascists etc. Reps have now copied it and are now claiming the same criticisms.
