The troops do not want nor do they need a card from a person who has sacrificed nothing in this war. They need armor; they need specific objectives not rhetoric like we will stay until we win. What does that mean? Define win. It does not improve the moral of a soldier to get a card because it is a vacant gesture done only to make the sender feel good about something that is meaningless. If you want to show support for the troops, demand hearings where the troops that are on the ground are allowed to testify in front of congress without fearing repercussions for telling the truth. Demand we take care of the homeless vets that return to this country but cannot readjust because they saw their friends die and they were asked to kill for this country. I saw a person with ribbons and bumper stickers covering the back of their car, stickers that said I support the troops, but when the homeless vet walked up to the door this “patriot” turned her head. She only cares about our troops when they hold a weapon, when they are being blown up in Iraq. Once their injuries either mental or physical, prevent them from fighting, they are nothing more than used chattel tossed back into the heap of useless humanity ignored by the compassionate conservatives.
Do not send a card call your representative.

I m from India. and driving on Indian roads calls which you'll be alert in any respect cases. So one cant particularly think of/do quite a few issues. although i like to pay attention a great style of song on an analogous time as I m driving, because it takes me to a psychological state of rest on an analogous time as I tension. I particularly have observed that as quickly as I pay attention sluggish song, I particularly tend to no longer velocity up, on an analogous time as I particularly tend to velocity up while listening to to rapid raging numbers.

You know that seems like a nice idea, but let's face some facts.
A significant number of troops in Iraq are not their out of choice or duty. Many were due to leave the forces many years ago, but have been forced or bribed to remain in.
What they are doing over there is not noble or necessary. They are merely human pawns in a very expensive game of chess, started by our President. He has cost hundreds of thousands of people their lives. Thousands of our troops have died, thousands more have been maimed. What have we got to show for this? Nothing. Thousands of civilian casualties, thousands of American casualties, and a bill for half a trillion dollars, that will need to be paid for by the American tax payer.
The powers that be lied to us and to the troops to involve us in an unnecessary and wholly wrong war. It is worse than Vietnam.
Instead of thanking our troops, we should be lobbying the politicians to withdraw. Bring our people home before any more people have to suffer for the ineptitude of our politicians. Then have Bush tried for war crimes. He has presided over far worse crimes than the evil Saddam Hussein. He has ordered people be killed, tortured, and imprisoned without trial. He has ignored domestic and international law and convention.
So I say let's really support our troops by getting them out of harms way. Let's also demand that they be given proper medical and psychological treatment for all they have been through.
