Why don't we just ring the guy's mobile number and then track the signal to find out where it rings ?

We can then send a missile zooming in on the position and hit him before he has time to say "hello".

I believe that the Republicans knows where he is and was about to get him in Afghanistan when they were pulled back. They didn't want to get him that would remove the reason they are in Iraq.
What further reason could they have if they got Ben Laden.
They can put a missile in a window. They know where he is.
they wanted to go into Iraq and secure the oil fields.

Does Verizon get reception there-jk. Im sure bin Laden isnt too happy eating his camel and taking a crap in a hole in the rock. His stone bed might not be soft either-what can I say-its his fault.

he doesn't use his cell anymore -- not since some government fool let it slip that we were doing that very thing, or something like it...

that may or not be the real reason (the article linked below calls it an urban myth), but osama did stop using satellite phones a long time ago; that much is true. too bad.

i don't think they they use cells, probably use closed band radio connections. if they do use cells, they probably switch them out 20x a day like most sophisticated terrorists.

bin laden would be easy to find if they sent in a couple dozen undercover Israeli special ops soldiers. those guys are smart as hell and they can blend in like nobody's business

Mobiles don't tend to have reception in the mountains, otherwise they would have tried that I'm sure.
